Stopping smoking. First day on patches.

far too much, but i ain't no quitter :P

Last time I quit, I bought a 10 pack and told myself at the end of it, I had to stop, and could make that 10 pack last as long, or as short as I wanted.
2 a day max worked well then and the pack lasted the week. Was a none smoker for a little while.:)

i'm lucky in the sense that i can take it or leave it, i can go weeks without them but i enjoy it, hence i always go back. Forza menthol!
 
I'm ok man. I just picked a very bad time to stop smoking, but I'm getting there. (y)

Only you know how you're feeling but think of it the same as the gym, how many times are you temped to just sack it off that day but do it as you know its got to be done.

Give up smoking, sack the patches off, buy some sweets and munch on them and after three or four shitty days the worst is over.

I used to smoke 30 a day and I hate smug ex smokers but get on it. You want to do it which is more than half the battle.

The question is do you REALLY want to stop smoking? Or are you doing it for other people? if it's for other people, you wont succeed. You have to really WANT to stop, otherwise you are wasting your time.
 
Yeah, but i mean have you tried and failed loads of times before? What is different this time?

Never failed to stop in the past.
I just failed not to start again.:lol:

I seriously need to not talk about them anymore tonight though. This is the time of night I'll end up wanting one. Tomorrow is a new day - I hope.
