Spot on.
We have no idea at this stage what Brexit will affect.
Brexit will affect us signing young starlets from Europe and beyond due to work permit issues not established international stars that we've been linked with this summer.
See you are looking at it the wrong way.
Just because they are spending 50 million on signing stones does not mean they intend to make him first choice, actually the real reason is miles away.
They are paying 50 million to acquire the signing of the best english defender for the next 10 years. They aren't buying the player now, they are buying the player he will be. Same as with raheem, they are buying potential and making sure that potential belongs to city. So in 3-4 years time when he kicks on and becomes the player we know he can be, it will be in city's colours rather than chelsea or united's.
In the next few years, (say five?), today's 20 million will be more than 40 million...by a long way.Yeh but now it just depends how that money is funnelled. For us, it's probably going to be on a new stadium, for example. A lot of it will go on traditionally 'smaller' clubs having increased gravitas in the market I suppose.
But in regards to clubs like Utd, they could afford the massive deals already. It seems £20mil has now become the new £10mil, but I don't think in the next few years that will have increased to £40mil, if you catch my drift...
Well, that sort of made sense, until you mentioned Sterling... who played virtually every game for them last season and whose stock has fallen massively over the past year. That particular 50m player now looked a million miles away from the one Liverpool sold.
see aboveSterling is proper garbage though

Has he actually said he wants to leave and go to City or is the Echo just spouting as normal?
I've not seen it anywhere else, other than quoting the Echo.
Just the Echo, though Esk did mention a while back that Stones was the one most likely to be sold.
Yes I would like to keep him maybe we will, but every player has their price, He will improve, but as a former great header of the ball myself I don't see him as a centre back a defensive midfielder yes!IT doesn't really help proceedings when your manager spends no time practicing how to either!
