And speaking of embarrassing, the site owner sharing a tweet from an EDL account justifies it by saying ‘I was on my phone’ and then doubles down by resharing the tweet, all while declaring ‘it’s my site and I’ll share what I like’ in such a mature fashion…Jesus wept, give your head a wobble.

I just woke up with the thread still open from yesterday. I see the huge page count jump and can see it's all about the trouble yesterday.
I purposely have not commented about the perpetrator because no good cam come of it, and I hope that the authorities will do their utmost to resolve this in the correct manner. My thoughts and best wishes are with those affected by the stabbings. The last thing they (and us all) need is violence and hatred contaminating our communities.

Sadly I've seen a fair few Scousers on Twitter posting the same anti immigrant sentiment as people from all over the country. Seen some saying action needs to be taken too. And a few on here have confirmed there were Scouse Accents there last night.

It should be a priority of the government to get a grip on this ecosystem of social media disinformation and grifting, because stuff like last night is the direct result of it. It is destroying our society.

Not saying some people weren't bussed in from elsewhere but we're really not the socialist utopian society some people would have you believe.

Massive F Up by the police commander's, sat in their control room. The police should of been head to toe in riot protection gear at that mosque. They no doubt took the decision not to inflame the situation..... Wrong Call. They had bricks/bottles thrown at them from close range, absolute sitting ducks. I saw a clip on YT where some scum bags were shouting aim at their legs.
Yet others on here are suggesting this isn't the case. While there were definitely people from further afield who came to incite trouble, there are many scousers too.
Their reasoning? Who knows, but as I've previously posted I suspect some will be there purely for a scrap, a laugh and having a go at the cops.

I totally agree, I also think it’s too late though.
Within 24 hours we know that the loon was a British born citizen with no connections to Islam and people are still convinced that those rioters were morally right attacking a mosque.
Twitter really has a massive problem with misinformation and sadly the site owner (Musk) seems to promote it.
Going to bed last night all I could think about is how the families of all those affected were feeling about it all.
