Absolute idiot, plea changes happen all the time
What a stupid bitch.

Exactly, happens all the time...it's not a grand conspiracy...complete post truth world nowI have an inkling that his defence have explained to him that it’ll be a length trial, where he will be found guilty, whereas he won’t want to be there nor ever give evidence.
He’s plead guilty as it suits him to, rather than it being based on any remorse, nor can it reduce a whole life term. The inquiry will do much of the trial’s work for the public.
But like you said, this could happen any place at any time by anyone, how do you protect against that ?The government can say what they like, learn from this make changes it's too late 3 little girls lost their lives doesn't mean anything to the family's. No matter who is in government it's the same thing....too little too late general public need protecting sort it out ffs
Oh yes agreed but in some cases there is signs like with this monster. But like you said, this could happen any place at any time by anyone, how do you protect against that ?
I’m working 2 mins walk away from a busy little town, what would stop me from walking into town with a knife and stabbing people up if I felt the need to do so (I obviously wouldn’t) .. how can you protect against that ?
I hear what you’re saying mate, but even with warning signs you can never predict when someone is going to actOh yes agreed but in some cases there is signs like with this monster.

That's a fair point. But we know this lad already had profile, so there's no real comparison with the scenario you're painting. The problem is that there are signs with loads of people, and there’s a lack of legal capability to deal with them in a way that would stop an attack.
Imagine your kid is autistic, getting bullied at school and one night you get the cops at your door saying the kids been on the net looking at school shouting footage. What do you want them to do with your child? What would you be comfortable with the state being able to do to them?
You sort of answerd the question yourself which I totally agree, lack of legal capability well change it. If it saves innocent lives we have to change imo..do understand your points but we can't keep going on doing nothing...The problem is that there are signs with loads of people, and there’s a lack of legal capability to deal with them in a way that would stop an attack.

Spot on. Today, there has been a lot in the press about his ability to purchase a knife with his record, which on the face of it is a fair question. The problem is that there are signs with loads of people, and there’s a lack of legal capability to deal with them in a way that would stop an attack.

But if you delve deeper... are we expecting Amazon to do criminal record checks on such purchases? Was the knife purchased in his name using his account?
And the sad issue is, there's an abundance of knives that people can find in most kitchens, so if someone really does want one then all you can do is try to prevent.
Put simply, the police, security services and the government cannot all stop attacks from happening; all they can do is their utmost to prevent them taking place.
