He's not telling me I can't enjoy or celebrate St Georges Day. No one is.

Every one who wants to celebrate St George's Day seems very tetchy and uptight about not being allowed to celebrate it.

There's nothing stopping you mate, get out there, have a ball and get drunk on cheap lager before beating someone up for different ethnicity.

I was trying to give you ideas how to celebrate traditionally man, in the spirit of Englishness.

It's no good mate. It's like a red mist descends and everyone not marching to their tune is a raving Commie/English hating/Sharia Law maker.

I've typed 'marching' there. That'll be another over-reaction on the way.

I will be putting my flag out its the same one I use for England games, must admit I never used to untill two years ago when a neighbour asked me not to use it as it offends people why?I always respect the Irish their day so why cant we have ours, hes not the patron saint of the bnp or any of these types its for all ENGLISH people and I object that it seen as any thing else

I like to go to foreign shores and mock them for not speaking English whilst binge drinking, fighting and vomiting on their streets.

Does this make me English?

Only if you're grounded by an ash cloud and start complaining that Gordon Brown's done fcuk all to stop those volcanoes.

True story from tonight's news that one. Couldn't believe it. Some spotty Jedward wannabe cursing Big Gord for disturbing the Gods of Vulcan and preventing him getting back to watch Britain's got Talent.

Fair do's Coyney. My point was the council shelling out for all this. You can imagine the uproar if the local Somali community had flags flying from lamposts paid for by the council.

Oh, I can well imagine.

British tourists never let the side down.

we have an african festival in leigh (i think it's become annual), there's an 'african' pub the moonraker. that does african food as the landlord married an african lady, not sure where from though.

I will celebrate with a few pints of real ale (might not all be English, as wetherspoons in the townie has the world real ale festival on at 99p a pint).
