Subs should have been made much earlier. Barry a passenger, Baines, Mori, Williams all dire.

Spuds will be disappointed with 3-2; it flatters us. But shows what might have been 'if' changes were made earlier. Oh, & if Barry was at home and Mori on bench with Holgate on.

Even if the manager picks the wrong side, you cant give away cheap goals like we did. Spurs should have put the game beyond us. Need proper centre halves badly.

Out classed today, should have been more than 1-0 down at half time and as a barometer shows the gap in the quality of players we have against the top 6 teams.

Why do we do pathetic things like give that second goal away, absolutely drain dead!

I think we do need a proven keeper, he was day dreaming with the first and stood in the centre of his goal when the ball is on our right side, poor positionally. Barry is gone, he gave us nothing today, just kept hooking it over his head down the pitch. We looked better when we were more offensive.

What has happened to Leighton Baines, not a shadow of the player he was 18 months ago.....

The next transfer window is going to be key, RK has said that. That's if RK is still with us! 7th at best but I am worried that WBA have narrowed the gap behind us to just 4 points.

As good as the opposition played at times they were given a massive helping hand by our own sloppy play and an incredibly bias referee, talk about a homer!

Meh, lost away to the second best side in the county by a single goal

Must do better next week

woah what? i turned it off soon as 3-1
was about to reply a 'single goal' ????
then check live scores an noticed Valencia scored ffs
im done even more.

let's not go overboard here and make ourselves ridiculous, we were playing against a team with 3 or 4 world class players. They've barely conceded a goal all season, so scoring 2 there is it at least some sort of positive. We just haven't got the players yet, we've set up foundations, but most of us agreed we needed another keeper, another centre back and then 3 or 4 more attacking players. That was the difference, you look at spurs and who are they going to buy? Just backup players probably, doubt they'd buy anyone else for the first team.

Awful 3 goals to concede today, the players desire seemed to go after there first goal. Basically it was a poor performance and the mistake for there second goal cost us, the thing is there project is 2/3 years ahead of ours,we are still the best of the rest we ain't a top six team yet.

Deserved to get beat but we are building. Koeman will know what is needed and he will try to get who he wants in. I apologise because he has been excellent at Everton but Baines is costing us. He is not aware he is not a great defender and more often than not he needs about 3-4 seconds on the ball before knowing what to do with it and usually passes it backwards. He is losing us any momentum nowadays. Need a stronger CB (Keane will do) and more support for Rom. Difference in teams was movement off the ball and Spurs drive forward most of the time. We tend to check back too much and rely more on Rom to hold play up. Lesson learned today and I am confident Koeman will learn and act on it.

Fair play to Spurs, but in the name of all that's holy all of their goals were poor from the defensive/goalkeeping point of view.
Kane should not have got a shot away, but Barry ran away from him and Robles should have stopped it, second goal I have no idea why Schneiderlin showed for the ball and less idea why Robles rolled it out to him. Alli - if you don't pick him up, you get what you deserve.
Thought we may have got a point going into this, but they do look good.

Barkley should be giving it down the banks to the rest of the team - worked his socks off today, back to his best.

Ron made two critical errors today:

1. Starting Barry. He simply hasn't got the pace to play in this side any longer. He plays and we play deeper and slower. Thanks Gareth, you've been an absolute star for us over the years but your time is up.

2. No wingers on the pitch until the 63rd minute. No wingers! Not one!

Spurs were by far the better team. We regroup and onto the next one. COYB.
When you consider the line up and how much the onus was on Ross for anything creative, I thought he was absolutely tremendous today, becoming a complete midfielder, if he wasn't an everton player he is one of those players i would still make an effort to watch, get the contract sorted because the fact he plays for us is a great feeling
