That scoreline flatters us. Performance was not good enough until late in the game after the substitutions.

Robles did us no favours but neither did Koeman by sticking Barry in the team. He's not going to play a high tempo pressing game and he slows down everything around him because of it. Barkley man if the match, loved him coming deep and demanding the ball. Funes Mori is a laugh, him and Otamendi must get ripped apart in training for the Argentina team. Shout for Valencia giving a great effort in his time on the pitch.

What this game has given us an insight of:

1. We need a whole new backline.
2. Barry needs to retire
3. Whenever we setup defensive we bottle and submit to the other team.
4. Last week we showed not urgency and looked lethargic and it carried on to this game

Could have been a mauling, Koeman unfortunately got his tactics wrong from the off. Let's beat West Brom next week and move on. For me, Barkley is the only player who can take credit from this game, plus Rom for finishing his only chance.

This was a valuable exercise to see where we are against a class side.

Basically, we need a new defence. I'll keep Coleman because, despite several errors, he worked like hell and posed a threat to Tottenham down the right. He ran Dembele ragged. Baines was invisible on the other side.

Fortunately, we don't play teams like Spurs every week.
