Well alright. We will never make it above 7th and will struggle massively to keep hold of Rom. Awful effort by the whole team, wrong tactics, no room to play. Adjustments from the manager were decent, but too late. Defence was shocking. Bad concentration wrecked us.

Barkley should be giving it down the banks to the rest of the team - worked his socks off today, back to his best.

Ron made two critical errors today:

1. Starting Barry. He simply hasn't got the pace to play in this side any longer. He plays and we play deeper and slower. Thanks Gareth, you've been an absolute star for us over the years but your time is up.

2. No wingers on the pitch until the 63rd minute. No wingers! Not one!

Spurs were by far the better team. We regroup and onto the next one. COYB.

We gave the game away with soft goals. Swap Barry for McCarthy/Mirallas/Lookman to begin and we probably see a much better game. Confidence was shot after that second goal, and it says a lot about our side that we were still able to nick two goals. He should not have experimented with the lineup.

I really believe we'd have won that if we played our usual team. We needed two forwards running the channels to render their high press useless. Two of their centre backs passed late fitness tests ffs. We should have been putting them under relentless pressure.

Schniderlinn, Gana and Davies should have been trusted to do their thing in the middle.

Koeman had an absolute shocker today. More surprising considering he's usually so pragmatic and proactive.

If we had of lost in competitive fashion I wouldn't care but that was gutless from Koeman. He completely bottled it.

Could have been a mauling, Koeman unfortunately got his tactics wrong from the off. Let's beat West Brom next week and move on. For me, Barkley is the only player who can take credit from this game, plus Rom for finishing his only chance.

Anyone just looking at that scoreline would think we gave it a right good go.

Truth is that was awful. Summer has to see us overhaul that defence.

Always looking to lose with that starting line-up today. Who could look at Spurs' midfield and think that Barry would be able to compete with that? Davies looked uncomfortable playing so high up too. This game was made for Mccarthy and Mirallas to start and Koeman's made a gigantic error.

Holgate needs to come back in, and Rom needs to have someone supporting him. Other than that, today was down to Koeman's selection, Kane being in form and whatever the flip that was for the second goal.
