The word YID. Quite simple really and can be summed up in one word CONTEXT. Which is the way it is looked at by the Club and by the Met.

I will always consider myself to be a YID - I would imagine more people in the UK associate the word with Spurs fans than Judaism.

P.S I hate the band the 4skins - not sure why.....

Congrats on your win yest - all that counts at the end of the day is the goals scored column - and you had one more than us.

One more thing - in respone to the poster above who asked - albeit tongue firmly in cheek - how do muslim Spurs feel about using the word or even being called YID, I can tell you categorically they don't care.
Over 4+ decades I have been going to the Lane I have attended with old and young, men and women, black and white, muslims, Jews, hindus and Sikhs, scandinavians and, as much as I hate to admit it, Australians and Americans. Every one of them considered them selves to be 'a Yid'.

Experts and intellectuals can debate it til they are blue in the face but they will never understand what it means to us.

Is right yid4life. Some people just want people to be offended by everything. Clint planet is one of those people. When those people realise that no one actually gives a **** things will be easier for everyone.
