A fine example of how people can see two very different things or repeat negative/positive opinion and stereotypes as fact rather than base their views on genuine unbiased factual observation. I'm off checking the DCL thread to see who's judgement I trust more.... :D

Not a genuine criticism btw - I'm sure I'm as guilty of it as anyone (Pickford & Davies will come good :hayee:) and pundits do it all the time.
Who we saying is talking poop mate?

Having seen Chelsea chuck away a win last week and the loss of Richarlison plus added media pressure over every single tackle we make, it will be a tough game but we are more than capable of finding enough to win.

Kenny is likely to play so we should see a more natural position filled although Godfrey was excellent debuting against Them.

Gomes has huge question marks over his starting position so Sigurdsson could be used for like for like or Davies to provide more pace in the middle.

Left wing will see Iwobi hopefully get his first start of the season with Gordon added to the bench alongside Bernard so still plenty of options.

Pickford
Kenny - Mina - Keane - Digne
Doucoure - Allan - Gomes
James - DCL - Iwobi

Kevin Friend did us a favour a few weeks ago. I can't remember what it was now but I definitely had a warm feeling towards him - no offence.

No it was Palace away when he gave us a pen for a dubious handball!
Yep, despite the running Joke on here, he has not actually been the ref of many Everton games at all, before that palace game, it was chelsea away in march
Arsenal at home before xmas, as well as the arsenal Jagielka game in april 2019, and away to cardiff Feb last year

What's an assistant var for? They're not going to get injured in the var box ha
