It was a penalty and a red on Coleman. Defender my backside!
Fellaini was fortunate, but didn't Saha get a penalty vs city for what williamson was doing?
Mariner gave a corner at the end, when Fellaini clearly spoonered it.
Horrendous. Should be docked points for performing so badly today, because a simple loss and ZERO points does not do justice to the inadequacy of that shambles. For shame Everton players, every single one.
Gonna be a tough night tonight I feel. Have fun lads.
Got himself between Nolan and the ball - and the ball ended up going in the opposite direction to the goal.
I think there's some mass hypnosis at play here. All hands going around taking up the case of that criminal Nolan that he was denied a 'stonewaller'. Was he fcuk. He dithered and Coleman got in a challenge.
I thought that DK , argued it at the time .
Then I saw it again .
It was a Pen' .
Sorry , Comrade .
D'you think so?
I think what skews people's thoughts on it (besides the [Poor language removed] media "stonewaller" comments) is that Coleman had ground to make up and challenged from behind. Nolan threw himself up after kicking Coleman's leg, but the ball flew away from goal indicating he got something on it. I thought it was a penalty initially, but I dont think it was...at the very least there was room for doubt that the ref (who must have acted on seeing the ball being scooped clear) acknowledged.

Have you seen the replays? It was blatent. Can't say about the treatment Felli was gettin, but that defo shoulda been a pen, man before ball.
Im with Davek on this...it wasnt a stonewaller and debateable IMO. Commentary team said it was a great tackle, then went back a little bit when they saw the replay. In real-time the ref, the players (didnt see 1 barcode player complaining apart from Nolan) didnt see it as one.
What was clearer was Williamson's man handling of Beckford and Fellaini that the ref didnt pull up once.
