Oh dear. What a bunch of moral cowards our MP's have shown themselves to be. They have now given a green light for any dictator to use any type of weapon to subjugate their own people, without any fear of comeback. Assad and his like must be having a good laugh this morning. All they had to do was threaten 'suicide bombers' and say they didn't do it, and the weak and cowardly shower who occupy Westminster collapse and look for any excuse to wash their hands of their responsibility.

I undertsand the argument of many who say we shouldnt be involved, but like it or not this is why the UK sits on the Security Council.This should have been nipped in the bud, but this will now only escalate further.

What if the USA goes it alone, and an emboldened Assad or Russia fires a missile at an American vessel ? Our NATO treaty immediately kicks in and we have to go to her aid anyway.

This is not strengh being shown by Milliband and his motley crew, or even political nous, this will be seen as out and out cowardice by rogue states around the world........god help the people in these blighted lands, because it looks as though we won't.......

Well, an incendiary bomb has been dropped from a Syrian government jet onto a school playground, burning many of the kids. This should give a good idea of what will continue to happen.......

There's been about 200k killed in the last 24 months and everyone sat around, but chemicals get used and the world goes crazy, I just don't understand sometimes that's all.

There's some horrid stories about the rebels too, it's a civil war, hence why I personally am not sure.

They have been banned under a UN/League of Nations edict for about 100 years, thats why.

Well you cannot and perhaps should not stop a people from having a civil war if that's what they want. The issue is what level of weaponry will be tolerated, clubs, stones, rifles, tanks, poison gas, nuclear bombs. All we know for sure is that lots of people will die. Some type of weapons generally kill combatants, they obviously can be used against kids etc, but tend to be used against each other. Some weapons, like poison gas, do not discriminate and just kill everybody. This is the issue. This is why during the Libya war, the West imposed a no fly zone so that at least it was an equal fight and could be brought to an early end. Our MP's have just voted for a free for all.......

It's been a free for all for 24 months though, and both sides have been deliberately targeting innocent people with all sorts of weapons.

I just hope whatever happens it's done quickly and methodically. The last few invasions have been a nightmare.
