Snide

Snide

  • Never enough Snide

  • Got to do it, it's the modern game

  • Now and again, so we don't get a name for it.

  • An ungentlemanly trait, the sign of a Bounder and a Cad

  • Just not Everton is it.

  • We were always snide, just subtle with it

All the best teams have a bit of snide about them and know how to see a game out. Its just being smart! Pickford reminds me a lot of big nev in his latter days when after making a save, whether full stretch or relatively easy take from a cross he would fall to the ground and lie there like a fat walrus eating the clock up. Jordan seems to have been watching videos of him.

Its not just the teams struggling that employ these tactics though. I was laughing my head off watching city kep the ball in the corner against utd and then just knocking it against the utd player and getting another throw on Sunday.

If its good enough for the footballing fashionistas then its good enough for Sam Allardici!!

The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that snide, for lack of a better word, is good.
Snide is right, snide works. Snide clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.
Snide, in all its forms; snide for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind.
Like Choesterol there's good snide and bad snide.
Revie brought mucho bad snide into the game
Jimmy Gabriel at the corner flag at wembley is good snide
2 footed stevemelar bad snide
Our snide should always be good snide...the stuff that doesn't give the word 'Professionalism' a bad name

Chithouse snide is a no no for me too.

We don't have to be that, all I want is for us not to turn to the dark side of the snide...and the Karma will take care of it's self
Damn right, all good sides have one or two snides in the team, Jimmy Gabriel comes to mind, he could be a real snide at times, in a very good Everton team, remember him winding the clock down by playing keep uppy by the corner flag, taking the pizz,
loved it.

Don't want us to get a rep for it, because that's the Tony Pulis line which nobody should cross. Certainly want to see a good deal of snide as something we can turn on whenever we want to though – never more so than against the RS.
