They are still dominated by late middle aged, white, male, presenters!

And?

If they are the best at their job, then who cares what colour their skin is? Or whether they have XX chromosomes or XY chromosomes in every cell in their entire body. Or how old they are.

All people should care about is watching/listening to the best punditry. Not people put there because "politics"

Merson, Morrison and Glen Johnson are expected to feature regularly on Soccer Saturday when the Premier League resumes, while the long-serving Chris Kamara may be deployed in the studio rather than at matches. Sky are conscious of the need for greater diversity in what has often been an all-white, middle-aged line-up.

So list two middle-aged men, and three black players, but no women.

Who prints this garbage? lol

Is this the permanent new panel?

No. The Athletic understands Sky are still to decide on a fixed panel. They plan to rotate pundits throughout the season. Some of those pundits likely to be included during the season include Robbie Fowler, Joleon Lescott, Matt Murray and current player Glenn Murray.
This weekend’s panel is significant, though, as fewer fans than ever before will be able to attend games and unlike the end of last season, there will be a number of games on Saturday afternoon at 3pm.
