Sky sports the debate transfer window special

Take away the early part which doesn't matter too much at the end of the day and ask have we not done the same? Or at least close? Because for me we have but our window is rated differently
Take away the early part which doesn't matter too much? You mean where they got their players in early, got them used to their new surroundings and are ready to play in the opening match of the season, fully integrated?
Come on, everybody would like to do business like they did this summer. We certainly would. Nobody, if they were being honest, wants to be piling in and buying/loaning a shed load of players on deadline day, as it's usually indicative of panic or incompetence.
We had a great last day/week, but I would've preferred all those we brought in to have been here 6 weeks ago or more.

I'm sorry, but we have a song about this - one particular line goes .....

"we don't care what the red side (in deference to filter) say, what the heck (filter again) do we care?"

Now we know, there's gonna be a show, when the Everton boys are there.

I'm all for changing it to "we don't care what the red 'Sky' say"

Instead of mentioning them

To them talking about United and Spurs signing absolutely effing no one is a more important topic of debate than us bringing in 3, possibly 4, new signings. All of those signings are big name players who have competed for big clubs or on a big stage as well, not career nomads no one's heard of who'll make no difference.

Forget Sky, I prefer them ignoring us than rather than trying to sell our best players.
that'll be in the next window when one of our new signings (who aren't worth mentioning now) has a brilliant start. ''Could Mina be the defender Mourinho needs Phil?'' - ''Now that Hazrd is off to Madrid, do you think Bernard could be the ideal replacement, Matt?''

Heard that dick Jim White on talksport yesterday say to one of the people with him, "do Leicester and Palace not have a duty to Maguire and Zaha to let them go to top 6 teams to further there careers?"
I nearly crashed the car and anyone looking in at me must have though I was having a fit.
Think about that statement for a minute, are they just baiting us for phone calls / tweets or whatever or is that the way it will be for evermore?

of course
You try phoning.
You get through right away to a recording. .
Then you wait as long to get through to their researchers.
Then you get on air eventually.
All premium rate .
I stopped listening a while ago but remember some callers having a dig about the wait.
Remember when it was lofty off enders and that fella off magpie and the calls were free?

It's scandalous, isn't it? Imagine in the 60s if the media had been saying that Bobby Moore and Martin Peters should move to Everton or Utd to further their careers. It's as if the media don't want a competitive league, just a reduced group of elite clubs who hoover up all the talent.

Yes baiting, they have to justify their existence and what better way then kowtow to current largest fan bases. And there only so much sport news, so offer opinions as well, and I have not really listened to talk sport for years, very rarely look at sky sports news any screen match will be literally 1 min before kick off before I tune in. Find forums and general searches far more informed and considered.

You all seem to hate sky and its presenters. Sky have totally ruined football with the millions they've collect from you all, and given to their favourites to establish a stable (uncompetitive) brand. Why not just ditch them, and all their like?

Come to the light side.

Coz no football on tv would be crap

It’s says a lot there more media coverage was given to united and spurs over their lack of business, as opposed to other clubs who actually completed deals.
