Does anyone remember how Kyle Naughton did look for Sheffield United last season? Didn't he play in play offs too? It could be interesting comparison between them.
We need a new right back then, because Neville and Hibbert certainly aren't the answer with there slow, one dimensional approach to anything and everything they do. If Moyes wants to make his system truly effective then he needs to get something similar to what Leighton Baines offers down the right. Especially if Bilyaletdinov is going to play on the right, he needs someone with legs behind him.
Hmmmm, interesting. It's definitely one scenario I didn't consider beforeI'd give Rodwell a run there before Neville and Hibbert.

Good to hear Coleman getting stuck in. Booked for scrapping with Dexter Blackstock. By scrapping I presume Radio 5 Live means 'gently pushing each other and acting like little plebs'.
Still, SMASH HIM LAD.
The fact that he's likely to be an understudy for both says it all really, he'll be nowhere near the first eleven. We need a player who can put pressure on Neville and knock Hibbert out of the picture all together. If Moyes wants to push on and develop this side then he needs to make some tough decisions, the right backs he currently has at the club aren't good enough, nor do they compliment the side in any way, shape or form. And it's been clear for a good few years now, everyone says it.
.
Just a shame Moyes is still too fond of a good honest hardworking player who he gains from defensively but loses from attacking wise.
It would make more sense if we didn't have so much success with Baines and Pienarr down the left, but Moyes has yet to really show any serious interest in recreating that partnership down the right.
Can only hope that he does see Coleman as his future rb, got no problem with him learning his trade in the upper ends of the Championship rather than on our bench if he isn't ready to be a starter for us yet.
I don't think any of that is correct mate.
Moyes is no too fond of good honest hardworking players to sacrifice an attacking element, that fact is true purely because he signed Baines and plays him as his main left back. He's not a stupid man, if he has an option to play an attacking right back, who he feels can do a job then I'm fairly sure he will do.
He may well bring Coleman back into the frame next season (sparks off he's 3 years away from the team comments from the congragation), he may look at bringing someone else in.
But one thing is for sure, he knows the side is unbalanced and he's tried to instil some attacking element into Hibbert and Neville, but there's only so much that can be done with those 2.
The only thing that did worry me is he decision to play his best centre back at right back. Maybe he has targeted that area as a problem and he will look to rectify it.
Have always thought Coleman had what it takes from first seeing him in that preseason game where he played LB.
