Sir Landon Of Donovan

I cannot believe they wrote an entire article based on four tweets. Embarrassing.

They've chased LCAB around the internet twice already. Them and Murdoch's evil empire.

Hence as always. Snides Out!

And another thing. I think Donovan's saying he loves us with all that tweeting. It's as LCAB said. HE DIGS US.

Conundrum of the day, people ( thrown in with a little Christmas optimism) !!

If ( in the parlance of the Oracle LCAB)) "Wheels are in motion" and indeed Piennar is getting shipped out and the likes of Hietinga and possibly Saha are surplus to requirements due "Lack of Service and Commitment" and thus funds would be made available, do you think Kenwright would sit Moyes down with a large stiff drink and ask him to bite his lip and swallow his already dented pride and try and reason with him to 'let this go' and allow us to sign Landon full-time or do you think the bullishness in Moyes would stop any sort of deal occurring at this moment in time.

Pieannar + Heitinga = Landon money. Would Moyes go for it ? Or has his face been slapped too hard ? hmmmm

Debate. :D

It is indeed a conundrum of epic proportions. If the money became available through various transactions, we know Landon would ( according to his twitter page) come - but since he's committed his future to L.A Galaxy by saying stuff like " I can't wait to re-join my team mates after resting blah blah blah ", this would surely harm his 'man of the people' image with the Galaxy fans and to an extent, the American people. Reneging on a deal is a huge no-no in any business and we, to an extent have felt that lately :(

BUT, it would endure him for life to the fans of Everton - By shunning everything in his life and committing his career to Everton Football Club thus closing one chapter in his life and opening the next one with a BANG!!

So, here we have it. Moyes the tough Glaswegian no nonsense boss in one corner and Landon Donovan the All American Apple Pie Mr Nice Guy who wants to please everyone, in the other ! Seconds out..

Let's hope WE win either way :D

Fair enough.

If that was definitely true (as in if we had the money, he would actually sign for good), then I guess I can be more sympathetic to his views. However for that kind of cash we should no doubt be aiming for someone younger imo.

Moyes does have a temper like. He's Scotch. He's also a big man, he's bigger than you think in height terms.... btw.

But Landon can mend bridges like if he works at it with Moyes.

Moyes only ****s off lazy arses. If someone puts the work in and puts themselves on the line for him... that goes a long way with him like.

Landon Donovan : An update from S;(tm) !!

As my main man LCAB is out at the moment he asked me to put this on here !

Before I do he asked me to check his Ladies... So hi to Cali, Rafuh and Nelly ! Also to everyone else in the States I haven't mentioned !!

Landon has had a bit of a bagging since his refusal to come here on loan in January, so I have an update from S; with a bit of clarification in what has happened.

Apparently, Landon was open to a move before LA Galaxy became less keen. Landon felt as though he needed a break but wanted to cut it short to come over here. LA relaxed their stance and Landon more or less agreed to come which meant our gaffer could concentrate his efforts on Strikers with our wide player sorted.

Now here is where it changes, the MLS are currently re-negotiating their TV Rights and didn't really want Landon leaving when they are about to begin Marketing their product to the TV companies. Also as David Beckham has it written into his contract that he can go out on loan , the MLS did not want to lose 2 of their Major Stars at what they see as a crucial time in the marketing stage !

It still looked at one stage though as Landon would still make the move but obviously, someone has advised him to reject the loan. What we don't know is whether David Moyes will re-consider Landon in the future as he does not like to be messed around and having received some positive feedback from Landon only a week ago then we'll have to wait and see.

Update over...

"Money talks, but it can't sing and dance and it cant walk"

Talks a good talk does Landon.

Moyes will rightly tell him to do one.

Thanks for the update pal. Bit disappointed here. I can't believe it's upto the MLS whether he comes over. Surely it should be up to the FOD.

Modern slavery just there.

Never really understood how it works in the MLS. I just bought Landon on FM11. 1.3m of the fee went to the MLS it told me?? Random
