Sir Landon Of Donovan

Didn't they pay quite a lot for him tho DT?

€10m I believe it was. Has been on the bech for a few times of late. Seeing Hamburg are not having a great season, and their coach is putting his faith in the older players, we might just be able to pull off a deal.

Of course, this is pure speculation, but he's one of the few Dutch players, that have always excited me.

The article I read said Moyes said landon had called him on Friday....before his Tuesday announcement. So at least there's that.

Maybe LD has NO idea how mad Moyes is.

Know what , Cali' ???

That was the deal with The Other Fella , last week . He was FAST but final ball NOT up to Prem' standard , now .

We need whomever it is for Jan' . Not August . Thus , Gueye / Silva .

You are PROPER GETTING this lark , Honey .

Makes sense - though I think Edson would have been a better choice, that would have been 1 Galaxy player too many. Although with LD out, fair game for Edson now, he's a free agent. Apparently he impressed at Birm.

Have been thinking of this one before, but would love to see us make a move for Eljerio Elia at Hamburg. Seems he has gone a bit of track there, as of late. Maybe use Heitinga as bait, as they could partner him up with Joris Matthijssen. Think Elia could be persuaded and Heitinga would probably jump at the chance to get out.

I'll pass on your thoughts , mate .

Would love to see Elia here he has big potential

Yeahh, i'll jump on the Elia bandwagon. Left winger, who's fast as ****. Is he any good on the ball Dutch?

From the O.S regarding Moyes' reaction to Donovan choosing to stay in the U.S

""He phoned me and said he needed to give his body a rest. I understand his views and he said he might pop over and say hello to us next year!"

Now, Moyes is naturally biting his lip and excising some sort of damage control imitation on this subject and has appeared to taken the stance of "Every thing's ok and we acknowledge and respect his decision .. etc" . Let's just keep a flame flickering on this one in the hope that maybe something positive happens in the future. You never know, some sh*t may hit a fan and the last place he may wanna be is L.A ( prays for earthquake and minor tidal wave 2012 stylee) :D

I guess I'm still too naive and believe everything I read....but I remember reading a few weeks back, Moyes was all about "he's tired from a long season and all he's going on vacation and he wants to come to the right decision and we're gonna give him a few weeks to make that decision." Like it was no big deal, he'd understand either way. Then LD lets him know his decision, lets him know before the announcement....and he's all bent out of shape.

Why dont' people just say what they mean from the get-go.

I'm too naive and believe too much. I'm going to become super synical now. It's easier that way.
