Hey LCAB, what's the deal with Landon's interview with evertonfc.com today?

Hey LCAB, what's the deal with Landon's interview with evertonfc.com today?
I think they might be waiting until tomorrow as they have a lot of stuff to put up including some "festive surprises" - probably an interview with Landon.....I hope![]()

As I said to the Yank lad .
It HAD FUK ALL TO DO WITH THE MLS .
He knows that . We know that . Moyes , is UBER-PISSED , apparently , thus >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ,.....
So this comment from Moyes, "He phoned me and said he needed to give his body a rest. I understand his views and he said he might pop over and say hello to us next year!" is essentially window dressing for public consumption and not his real view on this.
From the O.S regarding Moyes' reaction to Donovan choosing to stay in the U.S
""He phoned me and said he needed to give his body a rest. I understand his views and he said he might pop over and say hello to us next year!"
Now, Moyes is naturally biting his lip and excising some sort of damage control imitation on this subject and has appeared to taken the stance of "Every thing's ok and we acknowledge and respect his decision .. etc" . Let's just keep a flame flickering on this one in the hope that maybe something positive happens in the future. You never know, some sh*t may hit a fan and the last place he may wanna be is L.A ( prays for earthquake and minor tidal wave 2012 stylee)![]()
So obviously signing on a temp in the summer.
Last week I'd have said , yes , why the fuk not ??? This man LOVES US . LET'S HAVE THAT RIGHT .
However , BECAUSE Moyes went to Kenwrong ON THAT BASIS , an' said , Make it happen ,...
Then , Goal-Posts move ,...
Lid , He's GLASWEGIAN !!! What did LD think he was GONNA react like ???
Might pop over and say hello to us next year? As in watch a game? God, how bitter would that be? Especially if Pienaar isn't playing (cringe!). I'd fear for him sitting in the stands. Someone might walk over, hand him his old kit and just toss him over the advertising boards and say "go at it!" But in all seriousness, I'm glad Moyes at least "officially" said this (even if behind the scenes he's pissed) - one last loan deal in 2012? I'll take it, and I'm sure LD will too, which is why he'll work on repairing the relationship (one hopes).
Oh, and Arteta's Girl - Teal Bunbury is indeed the other new striker hope, I forgot about him. Yes, the combo of Juan & Teal (sounds like a band) is our next great vision in US striker pairings. Hope it works. If it does, they will not be in MLS long. The only other "bargain" MLS winger I could think of for Moyes was Andy Najar - he reminds me of Seamus actually, but he is awfully young, also unproven and just signed a deal with DC United. He has already trained in Europe though and will eventually be going somewhere in Europe I'm 100% sure. Moyes should keep an eye on that one too.
You know - the more I think about it, Edson Buddle would have been an interesting choice to just take a look at - as in have him come practice with the team, as a bargain basement option. I don't think he's long-term EPL material, he's already 29 going on 30, but he was on fire this year, he played internationally, he's used to taking shots from a quick winger like LD (read Pienaar/Seamus), and sometimes it's about striking when the iron is hot. The iron was hot, it was only 3 months, and he would have been *dirt cheap*. I'm sure that's what Birmingham were thinking. I'm not thinking in terms of amazing talent, I'm thinking in terms of our budget.
I'd loved to see Landon back at Everton and am still a bit upset, he opted against a loan. Also, I can't really understand his decision. If he really had become that mad Toffee during last season's short spell with us, he would've jumped at the opportunity. Of course, I don't know all the ins and outs, and although I do respect his decision, and refuse to **** him off for it, I think Moyes is right, if he draws a line under this one. We are Everton, and won't be hold ransom by any one player. No player is worth that, because this great club of ours, will always be endless times bigger than any player in the world.
Move on, I'd say, the LD ship has sailed past Merseyside.
