Besides ability, this is the most important thing to me. I could care less if he's American to be honest, although it's a nice little bonus for us Yanks.

I WANT PLAYERS WHO LOVE THE CLUB AND APPRECIATE IT AND THE FANS FOR WHAT IT IS. THE BEST CLUB IN ENGLAND.
 
Club should sign him in the next couple of days, otherwise I'll doing my monetary transfers in the January sales window and the club won't get as much :(

He will have a slightly inflated rate due to his status in the US/MLS - that's a given. So, I don't see him going for less than what Jozy sold for due to his stature and skill. People fail to understand that, with Donovan comes a HUGE American fan base.. Yea at first, they might just wan't to see Donovan play at this level.. But with time, Everton will grab hold of their hearts, this is fact.

Everton could become the most supported team in the U.S. based on this one move.. No joke.

Part of the reason it's so gutting that we're never going to sign him permanently.
