As I am just starting to get the hang of the lingo I am starting to realize how ridiculous some of this is. What the hell is wrong with the press over there? Canned stories waiting to run to ambush people? I guess it would be different if it was a person with an iffy past but we are talking Lando here. There's no false image built over X amount of years. Lando is a what you see is what you get type of person.

Regardless of all this BS I am hoping for at least a loan if not a permanent deal. As others have said it's no longer fun watching Lando in MLS.

I concur. I have absolutely zero interest in seeing him play in MLS. His talent is completely wasted there. It's like Doc Holiday in a room full of kids with toy pistols tasked with cleaning up Detroit.

Joe-Max Moore admitted he thoroughly enjoyed an emotional return to Goodison Park at the weekend.

The ex-Blue was back at the Club for the first time since his 2003 exit for Saturday’s home game against West Brom.

The former US international’s son was born in Liverpool while Moore was on Everton’s books and it was his first visit to the place of his birth.

Moore was the first American to play for the Blues, signing from the New England Revolution in November 1999. He went on to play 50 games for Everton, scoring nine goals.

“I left here in 2003, my son was born here and wanted to come back and see the place so we have finally made it back,” the American told evertontv.

“I was nervous but it was great to come back and say hello and having my son with me was a big deal, something he will never forget.”

Moore’s transatlantic switch came at a time where very few US footballers were playing professionally outside of their homeland.

Since then Brian McBride and, moreover, Tim Howard and Landon Donovan have enjoyed success with Everton.

Moore believes it is the professionalism of American players that fits so well with the values at Goodison Park.

He said: “Americans have done well here and have proved popular with the fans. Maybe US players are eager to do well and work hard.

“Tim has done incredibly well, he is a great goalkeeper. Brian is a good targetman and also got goals. Landon is probably the best outfield player the US has ever produced.

“I think David Moyes likes US players and hopefully that will continue as there is plenty of talent coming through in US.”

Meanwhile, Moore has tipped Donovan to rekindle his love affair with the Blues.

The US international spent a successful loan spell at Goodison Park last season and has been persistently linked with a return to the Club.

Donovan makes no secret of his affection for the Blues while David Moyes has consistently said he would love to re-sign the American forward.

The 28-year-old has just finished the MLS season with his club LA Galaxy and has said he will make a decision on his future once he has had a rest.

Moore is still an avid follower of the Blues fortunes and was pleased to see his countryman Donovan excel last term.

And he feels the lure of Goodison will prove too strong for the Galaxy winger to resist.

“I think he (Donovan) will be back here at some point,” said Moore. “I am surprised he hasn’t played in Europe more to be honest. I think Everton was a good fit and hopefully they can work things out. I think when he came here he provided a spark and the team went on to win lots of games while he was here – he did great and I know the fans loved him."

It's a sad state of affairs that has plagued this nation for decades and one that Golden Testicles will have clued L.D in on time and time again if he hasn't already being following their behaviour for years himself

Everyday I get on here first thing in the morning to see if some good news has been posted...and I just get sadder and angrier each day.

LD doesn't have the kind of cash to fight this himself. Wish Becks would just give him his pocket change so he can maybe shut this byatch up. I swear.....
