Fooking hell. Simple songs with just a players' name are crap, detailed ones with loads of words are Kopite.

I can't take this kind of shyte much longer.

Again, you completely misunderstand.

I'm against standing up for a number of reasons, i simply said that I stand up when it gets exciting because a] it's a natural thing to do and b] if i didn't stand up i wouldn't be able to f***ing see.

But what about that poor kid behind you?

OH YEAH I STOOD UP THAT MEANS I DONT CARE ABOUT THE KID AND MY WHOLE OPINION IS VOID LOL YOU GOT ME.

No, because i only stand up when i need to. I don't think the kids dad is going to get in a mood with me when everyone else in the ground is on their feet, but if i'm standing up when we're getting battered in November then he might get a bit pissed off. Quite rightly, because i'd be a tit for doing that.

Calm down calm down.

So a singing section at the back of the Gwladys... tell me why you're against that? No kid's view to block..

Surely you've been aways where we've stood the whole match? It does happen you know.

As I said, 80% of teams in the league stand up away. And at least 8 teams I can think of at the top of my head have standing/singing areas at home.

WHY? TO ENHANCE THE ATMOSPHERE.

Not particularly related, but whatever - anyone ever hear West Ham away supporters sing that unbearably slow version of 'Twist and Shout'? It's such a wtf moment every home fan goes quiet. It's near-genius psychology. Anyway, got me thinking we should do something along those lines. My suggestion is sing the entire Alice record by Tom Waits.

Also, Greenhalgh's>Greggs>Sayers

I'm not against a standing section lid, people can do whatever they want as long as it doesn't harm anybody else, but that doesn't stop me thinking it's stupid.

Then again, how can you guarantee that you aren't going to p*** off current fans who have had seats in that part of the ground and don't want to be part of a 'singing section' ? That's why it's annoying, there was a lad on here only the other day saying he was in that section by accident, through no choice of his own.

And yes, i've been to plenty of aways where people stand up all game, doesn't mean it's not f***ing annoying. Aways have and always will be a different beast though.

24/7 Bill's been looking for investment.

Investment?

Where the ****'s the investment?

Come on lids. If you're annoyed by someone trying to sing at a football match then go and watch bowls or something.

What is natural to you, may not be natural to someone else.

Goodison Park. The first stadium to have terracing and the seats on all sides of the stadium.

People who went in the terraces could have went in the seats if they wanted to do, but for them it was natural to stand watching the match.

Those in the seats found it natural to sit and watch the match.

We're all different.

Pound bakery please.

I was referring to the standing up when something exciting happens, which IS human nature mate.

I'm a long time match going fan , over 40 years, I've stood on the Gwladys , paddock , and I even stood up in the Park End for the Bayern Munich game in 1985, nowadays though I suffer from chronic osteo arthritis in both knees and my hip, so I tend to miss important parts of games with people jumping up in front of me at crucial moments , even so , I can handle that and if designated areas are given to those who wish to stand then that's great... As long as this is adhered to and I don't get some muffin insisting on standing up in front of me in a non designated area
