We're already stockpiling midfielders, would rather see us put 45m - 50m towards a top-class striker, problem though might be convincing one to come to a club that hasn't yet qualified for the Europa League group stage.

Gylfi though is still quality, and it ain't my money. I'd be very happy with him.

He's not as good though is he? I refuse to think those who think all Sig is is a set piece merchant have actually watched Swansea or Iceland much. When Bob Bradley was trying to get them relegated I watched all of Swans games almost. I watched all the Iceland Euro games. He's quality across the board. Those saying he creates less chances from open play...if you play for Swansea, the team was on their heels all the time. How do you create chances when your team never goes forward. It's a miracle he's put up the numbers he has with that squad to back him up. 50m is high but he'd no doubt push us forward.

Totally agree with that. Too many cooks spoil the broth. Need a LB and a top quality striker tbh. We have 75M of Lukaku. Lets splash all of that and a few extra of Mosh quid. 50-55M striiker and 10-20M future LB would be great.
