Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

I could understand if Kenwright wanted him to stick around until Martinez started, to help get things in order.
I can understand Moyes taking the job, its United at the end of the day and no love of our club can disguise that.
I can understand him not signing a contract, I don't for a second believe he new about it months ago and that SAF & Moyes concocted some conspiracy to hide this. I think at the time it wasn't signed for legitimate reasons, even if that was fishing for a new job, that is up to him. He wouldn't be considered for most clubs if he signed a new contract after all.
But I cannot understand how he thinks that whilst we are paying his wages and he is Everton's manager, its acceptable to be trying to sign our players for his future club.
Fking disgraceful.

Bill:
But this is DAVID we're talking about, the best manager in the history of any sports team ever. We trust him completely, hell, I'd even trust him to resist the urges of a naked, spread-eagled Jenny urging him to perform sexual interaction with her. DAVID took just 15 seconds to convince me he was the best manager and best person in the world ever, and that will never change to me. DAVID has been nothing but professional to Everton, he'll always be a friend to me.

Lol @ at the end of season awards when Bill made a(nother) show of himself presenting golden watches to Moyes and his family, Moyes looked completely and utterly embarrassed for Kenwright then. Although it was clear Kenwright thought/thinks the sun shines out of Moyes' arse, it's coming more and more clear that he was just played by Moyes the entire time, probably with fake smiles and empty words, only for him to bite us on the arse with a complete and utter piss take of a bid to unsettle our best player.

I have often been accused of being 'pro Kenwright' which isn't strictly true..I'm more anti the way some people go about voicing their displeasure at the current guardians, but I think Moyes has played a blinder for his own self interest here, because he has known Bills Achilles heel, and has taken advantage of this. Bills theatrical background means that in many respects hes a tough(and successful despite what many will say)) business man, but he also has the streak of sentimentality and sense of percieved loyalty (the loyalty thing is only percieved...there isn't a bitchier or more back stabbing business than show business...anywhere). Moyes was never an Evertonian in the way supporters(including BK) are, he was simply always looking after his own self interest, and still is. Eleven Everton players will take the field at Norwich...and as usual real supporters will support them as long as they show respect for the club and what it means.

I for one am not surprized to see Red Moyes showing his true colours to all at last -
he is selfish to the extreme and the way he underdeveloped our Everton squad the past season and the way he left us in the lurch at the last minute made me lose a lot of respect for him -
personally I have no doubt that he knew months ago about the United job - it just explains some strange coincidences -
after the utmost respect Everton has shown Red Moyes with his departure he is returning that with the utmost disrespect -
I am on record that he should have been shown the door immediately when his intentions became clear -
I for one certainly do not miss him for a second - viva Martinez VIVA - Long Live Everton !

In what way did he do that?

I have also lost a lot of respect for Moyes, but because he is trying to buy Baines whilst under contract to us.
I think that is very low and possibly the first genuine issue I have had with the man that dragged us out of the gutter, washed us off and put us back on our feet.

to me it is the same as leaving your second wife and then trying to date your step-daughter - legally nothing wrong with it but it shows a lack of class and respect for the other party - the Moyes /Everton situation is certainly not the same as the Martinez/Wigan one

12m is just to unsettle the player so that offer number 2 hits home. He knew full well it would be rejected. News made it's way onto SSN pretty quickly though.

This is the type of behavior Moyes complained about when other EFC players were targeted, Hughes etc, 'we like to do things with dignity and class'.

Agree completely.

I would have us as the step daughter, younger (no yewtree content btw) more sexually active/attractive, and Utd as the mum, richer with better paid job.

He was though, and technically he still is, and despite this, he's currently trying to buy one of our players so I imagine most fans are arsed about him.

at least, while he is still everton manager, hasn't actually accepted the man utd bid eh.

not all bad

if DM had signed his contract 3-5 million compo would have helped would it not!

Utd may have gone for someone else if they'd had to pay millions in compo.

Moyes was almost certainly tapped up long before he took the job and I'm not sure how it would've been received at MU if
he'd signed a new contract here.

I'm not supporting either party in that, just pointing out the likely circumstances.

There was a thrend on here not so long ago which said we should sing Moyes's name on his return to Goodison, said we should just cheer our own mangers name but I never thought I hate Moyes as much as I currently do! Its crimmnal the way he's shafted us, totally unforgivable. Hope he gets the horrible reception he deserves on his return to goodison. Only Billy Liar would still be stupid enough to chher him after this!
