Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

I wonder if half the Moyes supporters in this thread would be so willing if they'd have known a few weeks after the West Ham love-in the ginger tw*t gets his Manc overlords to slap in a £12m insult to nab Baines whilst he is still Everton manager.

I'm sure some would be able to justify it to themselves like

He's gone lad. Get over it, stop re-opening old wounds between supporters, and get behind the new manager.

No he's still our manager until Sunday night. It's no more opening up wounds than any other issue does.

I don't think anyone doubted he should have been sent off with a bit of dignity and a well done etc. There was a principle of not having another team's contracted man as our boss. There was a principle of not keeping him on to now royally shaft us.

If you believe that you need to seek help mate.

FFS Dell this thread died the second the season was done and dusted why spark it up again just for another pop at Moyes who may or may not have had a say on the bid. We don't know the full story other than what the media have told us

Believe? He has a legally binding contract that unless he was willing to give up £240k to repudiate, is very much still in operation. So on Monday he will start work at the same club who were just rejected for a derisory bid. You don't think when he 'officially' takes over - replete with whiskey-faced red tie and matching !Sir Alex' scarf - he won't utilise relations he had forged over 11 years at the club to his advantage?

Do we know if he is still contracted to Everton or is it just people assuming that because his contract had an expiry date of June 30 that they think he is still on our payroll?
I would have thought that his contract would be terminated when he signed with Man Utd - you can't be contracted to 2 clubs at the same time can you, or is his Man Utd contract not in effect yet?

Mate, this is Kenwrights everton, if there is a way to do things with sheer incompetence and at our own cost bill will find that way

Moyes has had nothing to do with our club for weeks. 1 week after the season ended he had gone and was in charge of nothing Everton related, he was in charge at utd. Same as Roberto has had nothing to do with Wigan since he was announced as our new manager.

It really is embarrasing to see bitter blues on here fuming, claiming he's still our manager, doing this and that....taking the piss blah blah....He's gone simples, ok maybe at a push his contract was left to expire July 1st, if so the same probably applied to fergie and Roberto. But both are representing there new clubs certainly not there old ones.

As for the 12M bid, you think moyes picked up the phone and made the call?? Course he didn't, utd did on his instruction to go after baines. It's a starting bid to get the clubs talking, again nothing underhand just football.

On this note....please close this thread and move on people's. There's no conspiracy's, Nothing dodgy....just the world of football!

It's not likely that Everton is still paying Moyes, just as it's not likely that Wigan is still paying Martinez. Both are, and have been actively working for their new employer.

Their contracts expired when they left the premises of their previous employer.

I've just been reading about Moyes chasing Baines. Already! Think that through and what does it tell you?

Iwas typing this out when you were posting yours, Christiffa. We're in agreement.

Clap clap clap.

He took £30M in wages, insisted his family got on the club payroll, ran his contract down so we received nothing from United and then pulls his kecks down and ****s in our face with that bid for Baines....and still some support him over their own club.

Unbelievable.

Apparently done during discussion over backroom staff, nothing sly, sneaky or disrespectful there from Mr Moyes...
