Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

Clap clap clap.

He took £30M in wages, insisted his
family got on the club payroll, ran his contract down so we received nothing
from United and then pulls his kecks down and ****s in our face with that
bid for Baines....and still some support him over their own club.

Unbelievable.

Lol love the bitterness! He was an excellent manager for Everton, and left when his contract was up, having never said he would sign another. It now seems like he's trying to sign one of our players. Exactly the same as Martinez is doing to Wigan. Guess what - thats football.

That's not true though is it? Whelan has publicly welcomed the move and will get top dollar for whoever leaves there who's under contract. That's just not the case here on both counts.

It's not the same as Martinez, nor Wigan mate.

And as for closing the thread, I think it should stay open, in accordance with usual rules, as it would be pointless without paying regard to the consequences.

I agree with all of that but you only have to blame our chairman & the board for letting him do all that - would Peter agent Johnson or the late great John Mores have done that I very much doubt it if we lose two of our main star players BK has let the club down yet again one in Felli yes, he was always stating he wanted to go but why such a low buy out clause when we have to pass a % to his last club? I could except losing Felli but anymore star players out of the door & we are doomed! Thanks Davy for no silverware, hoof ball - you came in a tracksuit and left in a Mercedes with no compensation for the club who gave you your big break! one word TRAITOR!

'Thanks Davy for no silverware, hoof ball - you came in a tracksuit and left in a Mercedes with no compensation for the club who gave you your big break!'
Hahaha, someone tell him he's left his ethics in his desk too

I dont see the difference tbh. We can get top dollar for Baines - its entirely up to Kenwright. They will want to buy cheap and we will want to sell high. You dont do 'favours' worth millions of pounds because of former loyalty.

He took our chairman for a fool -urm that was not difficult was it - there lovey douvy relationship has cost our club we had to pay compensation for a manager who got relegated the richest club in England got ours for nothing! what's ethical about that!

Apart from Whelan publicly saying he wouldn't stop Roberto from making a move for any of his players and Kenwright saying he's not Dave Whelan, only players with a release clause who he can't stop can go there.

There is a difference mate. I don't see why utd didn't just wait until after 1st July when Moyes was officially their manager and then make the bid. It'd still have a reaction from our fans but wouldn't seem quite so bad. Is there another club interested perhaps and Utd want to get the deal done before they face competition?

Not too fussed about the compo compared with him cherry-picking from the club what he wants. They'll be nobody to show Martinez where the toilets are at Finch Farm Monday morning, lol ;)

As I said at the time...the minute Moyes announced he was going to United, he should not have been allowed to step inside GP until he came with his new club. Round, or another, should have been caretaker for the last two games and if Moyes wanted to talk to any Everton players it should have been through the club. Very soon after the announcement, Moyes had dinner with SAF and Ryan Giggs in Alderley Edge...and after that managed Everton in two more games. Ludicrous. If Everton thought that they were acting generously and with dignity over Moyes, they were badly mistaken.

if DM had signed his contract 3-5 million compo would have helped would it not!

Course it would, but of course Moyes wouldn't have wanted anything to get in the way of his 'Dream Job', besides Manure'll be putting that money aside for a compo package for the ginger whopper next year.
Can't believe it's so messy and conflict of interests weren't eliminated. Surely Moyes isn't so insecure that he couldn't wait a year, or at least until Martinez starts work before targeting our staff and players.
As for BK, although naive and exagerrated, good on him going out of his way to big Moyes up etc, and pay respect by saying we'll continue to build on his good work etc, however whilst still being paid by us Moyes is thanking him by ripping us apart.

I said it at the time and will say it again. I was disappointing at the love in during the West Ham game and even pointed out the amount of time Moyes spent talking to Baines to my Cousin and said 'he's tapping him up'. I was hoping I was wrong but I have seen Moyes undervalue us as a club for a few years now and I never understood that. Especially when he never publically criticised Kenwright and the board. Now it all makes sense. It's all very upsetting but typical of this cut-throat business we call a game

Bill:
But this is DAVID we're talking about, the best manager in the history of any sports team ever. We trust him completely, hell, I'd even trust him to resist the urges of a naked, spread-eagled Jenny urging him to perform sexual interaction with her. DAVID took just 15 seconds to convince me he was the best manager and best person in the world ever, and that will never change to me. DAVID has been nothing but professional to Everton, he'll always be a friend to me.

Lol @ at the end of season awards when Bill made a(nother) show of himself presenting golden watches to Moyes and his family, Moyes looked completely and utterly embarrassed for Kenwright then. Although it was clear Kenwright thought/thinks the sun shines out of Moyes' arse, it's coming more and more clear that he was just played by Moyes the entire time, probably with fake smiles and empty words, only for him to bite us on the arse with a complete and utter piss take of a bid to unsettle our best player.
