You know what, so would I.

First it was 'Moyes shouldn't be in the dug out for the last 2 games'. When the overwhelming mass of Evertonians gave their verdict on that it now moves to 'Moyes said this and that'. People may have issues with Moyes, and I certainly did, but it is now coming across as being vindictive.
First of all - were you at Goodison today? Its just that the crowd (in my view) was showing appreciation for Moyes as a man, for the team after a modestly successful season and a great performance on the pitch. I don't think you can say in a million years that the crowd were in raptures that the United manager is in our dugout.
Second - my argument is unchanged. Moyes shouldn't be managing the last two games because he's now United's man. So him coming out with these ridiculously crass comments are part and parcel of the same problem. Nothing new. And its just further evidence of why this situation has never come up before - BECAUSE it puts the mand in the middle of it in an impossible situation.
I thought about it today though and I agree Moyes has nothing to gain by this. The blame here lies square at Kenwright's door. Moyes should never have agreed to it - but ultimately it is the board's call.
I had to change my weekend shifts around to go to Goodison today. To ask the question implies that if I wasn't there and could only watch it on the computer then my opinion and observations would be invalid. Oh deary me.
I never used the word 'raptures'. I put the 'overwhelming mass of Evertonians gave their verdict on that (should Moyes be in charge for the last 2 games). The United manager at this moment in time, Ferguson, was not in the Everton dug out he was at Old Trafford.
The overwhelming mass of Evertonians had no problem with Moyes being in the dug out for the last 2 games. But there again maybe they don't know what is actually good for them.
Around 5 years ago, Moyes believes he could take us back to the top, he had a glint In his eye, fire in his belly and wanted to create his own Man u here. Over the last 18 months I believe Moyes grew up and realized this Is a money game and nothing was happening on the investment side. This is when we lost Moyes. We the fans have to believe we can be as good as the 80s, and we need our manager to believe this as well. Moyes has outgrown us which is a shame for us and he just couldn't turn down the Man u job, he would have been known as ****bag if he had done that.I think for Moyes to say we will never be as good as we were in the 80's is silly because it only takes a billionaire takeover (City) or for a radical overhaul of the Premier league to ensue a level playing field to change that. Maybe.
But as things stand, I just think he is being realistic.
The offer was last week, but yeah he been tapped up for the last 6 months. Lets just move on.Ferguson has said he made his decision at Christmas.
But moyes only found out this week.
Yeah right.
Moyes has played a blinder.
