Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

Wouldn't really benefit the team to let Round take the last two games so at this stage he might as well finish them off. Can't see Kenwright telling him he can't either.

We now know that it made a tremendous difference as the manager's mind was elsewhere, because negotiations for this ascent to the OT throne didn't just start this morning with the Fergie announcement.

IMO they have been ongoing for several months now to the detriment of Everton FC.

Moyes unsettled the club in the midst of what was looking a very promising campaign.

This is now irrefutable.

Laughing here.

I don't think you know what the word "irrefutable" means. You have absolutely no evidence to show that this contract situation had any negative effect at all on the campaign.

As several posters have pointed out, you're factually wrong as our performance around the New Year was no worse.

Like what was said earlier, it doesn't seem fitting that after doing so much for the club, he has strung us along with non-existent contract negotiations for months. Even before fergy stepped down it was very clear we would be going into the 2013/14 season without Moyes and it seems as if he has intended to leave for a long time, which begs the question; why not officially announce he would be stepping down and put an end to all suspicions, allowing Everton and Moyes to try and finish the season as best they can, earning himself a propper send off in the process?

I would like to see him in charge until the end of the season

I think he deserves to say good bye to the fans in our last home game, I am sure most fans wish to send him off in style

Moyes should never have been allowed into our ground ever again after he sacrificed a derby game because he was worried about Sunderland.

He certainly shouldn't be allowed in now he's going to the mancs.

Let's hope kenwright's following him out the door.

Disagree with this post entirely, it's very narrow minded. Where were we 11 years ago compared to now. Would you welcome a Rooney return?

He needs to be given a proper send off on Sunday, the man has been brilliant for the club and I hope we as fans get the chance to show our appreciation for the job he's done.

He wouldn't be going anywhere if we were able to compete at the top, sadly those days are gone.

Well we've all been led a right merry dance. Anybody who thinks Fergie hadn't planned this months who and hadn't let his apprentice in on the deal is naive indeed. 'Davey, don't sign that new contract. They're careful wit the wonga the Glazers, if they don't have to pay out compensation that could swing it'
All that ****e about 'seeing how things look in the summer' just to save those ********s a few million, thanks a lot Davey

he deserves an applause hes worked ****in miracles here. can you blame him for going? it points at our board and only them there a disgrace. if we get a **** manager to replace moyes kenwright might just be forced out.

Get a grip, Moyes has saw out his contract and owes Everton absolutely nothing after ten years of brilliant service.

We're left in this type of position because we have a chairman at the helm who knows without Moyes he's buggered. If you must label the blame with anyone it's Kenwright.

Why should he sign a new contract if he has no intention of seeing it through ?

I can't believe some people would rather he lied to everybody, signed a new contract and then went to United. In fact, i know if that had happened the same people would have been bitching to high heaven.

He has seen out his contract, he doesn't owe anybody anything. He's done his best the past eleven years and he's taken an opportunity which is literally once in a lifetime.

And a few million quid compensation would have done naff all. If he'd signed a new contract he would have cost us a million quid in increased wages.
