Should Moyes be in charge for the last two games?

You didn't ask a question though did you? You made a statement. So how often does this happen to compare to other managers? He's under contract. He should manage

We should sack him on the spot if it's announced he's joined United this afternoon. In any contract of employment there will be clauses prohibiting agreeing to join a rival whilst still under contract. You cannot have it both ways.

By all means show him respect next season. But now we have two important matches to concentrate on.

Clauses prohibiting agreeing to join a rival? You do realise his contract is nearly up, which states he can talk freely with any other club?? So what you've just said is completely wrong.

Ferguson shouldn't manage the last two games either if he's retiring, his mind won't be on the game.

Are you deliberately being so obtuse?

Moyes' contract being 'nearly' up is not the same as the contract has expired. Until the last minute of the contract's duration he has a legal responsibility to be totally focused and loyal to Everton. That is impossible if he's already agreed to join United. It's that basic fact that had led to all similar circumstances seeing the manager/player leaving the club as soon as a deal with another club is announced.

Old Whisky Nose's situation is entirely different. He's been there donkeys years, won loads and is leaving with a championship party. He's not jibbing them to anyone else - he's retiring upstairs. It's a world apart.

Why shouldn't he be in charge against West Ham and Chelsea? The games won't change our league position, I don't see a reason why David Moyes shouldn't be on the line on Saturday.

Pretty sure most employees have to give notice and continue working for a while under these exactly described circumstances don't they?

How will the games not change our league position, Flo?

We are still vulnerable to Liverpool overtaking us if they win their last two matches and we fail to take two points from our last two game.

F*cking hell I've slipped into a parallel universe here.

We are Everton. Our manager should be 100% ours. If he's jibbing us for another club then fine - that's life - but he has to go now. Anything else is the mother of all insults.

We can catch Spurs and the RS can still catch us. Indeed assuming they win their last two - we have to get at least two points to finish above them.

At their current employer's discretion.

Moyes is the United manager as soon as it's announced.

Why the hell would we want a United manager in our dugout?

Yes course he should, he's been a top manager for us for years and we should respect his decision to move on. There should be no hate towards him, it could even benefit us, time for a change, lets see what happens.

Ok mate but why should we do better in these games without Moyes as our manager? Not sure if we'd play better under Round or Neville. I think our players are experienced enough to handle this situation and to focus on football.

Let Round take over for the last couple of matches, having Moyes on the touchline will only screw up our lads' mentality and it's be a good test to see if he could take the role permanently

Let me think back to when our most successful manager left us because he wanted European football. The rumour was that he needed the experience of European football to get the England job. Which he never got.

I don't remember hordes of people outside Goodison having a go at Kendall. I don't remember hordes of people booing Kendall's return to manage us.

Moyes has been good for Everton and we have been good for him, whilst he had his limitations big time by not winning a trophy, he has steadied the ship and gave us European football and trips to Wembley. Good luck and I for one will applaud you on your return, like I applaud many ex players but will also be urging us on to victory against Manu next season.
