For just this season, and jettisoned Tosun instead. We all know he's on the wane but stick him up front with orders to stay in and around the box and I reckon he could have been effective, especially with the service he would have got from Richarlison, Walcott and the Brazilian magician.
Are you on drugs? This thread is the dumbes Ive seen on here in a while, Rooney is garbage.

No we absolutely shouldn't have.

Our squad is looking youthful and exciting. Brands has done an amazing job completely refreshing our ranks.

Rooney was ok for us last season but nothing more. He wouldn't get on our bench now everyone is fit.

I see the sentimentality gang, is back on the scene.

Whats next does jags deserve a new deal ?

Now Baines has had a break and is fresh should he be brought back in at left back.

I listened to a podcast by a group of fans this week, about players out of contract. And they all said keep Jags & Baines. And a couple them said keep browning too.

20yrs of Kenwright, Moyes and Neville has brainwashed the fan base.

Rooney is the type of player that dictates the whole pace and tempo of a match.

Because of what he has achieved in the game, he is seen as the leader of the team he is in no matter what the manager says, as soon as the match whistle blows the game is managed by him.

A few years ago that was fine, but he has way to many miles on the clock for prem football as we saw last season.

It's of no surprise to see us setting a high tempo this year with him gone. The game is not being dictated by his slow approach.

It seems the msl is still ideally suited to his game. Defo not the Premier league tho
