His performances at centre forward were so bad we had to play him in midfield to accommodate his lack of speed and agility. I can't stress how poor he was as a 9. It got Koeman the sack.

Did an attacker who didn't score a goal from mid December until the end of the season deserve to be the highest paid employee in the history of the club?

I'd suggest the answer is an emphatic no and Moshiri/Silva/Brands or a combo of them all made the correct financial, and footballing decision.

He wasn’t an attacker Fromm December onwards tho, I’m not saying we should have kept him, but, he was a deep cm from December onwards . Also don’t forget the fact that under sam we had about 6 shots total in 2018

Did youse see his free kick? Joke we didn't keep him about. Screw the cash he was on . We are minted. Whaeva

I’m glad we didn’t. He pied is off when he was too good for us and we returned the favour when we were too good for him. If he wanted to be treated as an Everton legend then he’d actually have to have had the career to be one.

Glad he came back, hope he sorts his personal life out and lives happily ever after. I watched his best 10 Everton goals with tears in my eyes.

Delighted for him.

I actually think his brilliance is neglected, overlooked, whichever! The fella is the highest capped outfield england player, the record scorer, the record Man Utd scorer, has scored some amazing goals, has won everything, and should be reflected that way.

He had the ability to be the best, and probably hadn’t gone to the dizzying heights some expected, but he’s been brilliant and deserves his England send off.
