The owners have had well over a month already, because Silva was dead man walking.

No excuses. We need an experienced manager in, we cant rely on a coach with no experience in leading a team or setting up to play outisde games when the crowd is the difference.

We are were we are though. I want the best man for the job and if that takes a few more weeks then so be it.
We don't have bad players they were just badly managed.
Put it this way if it's wait until January for our best possible manager or appoint Moyes now then wait we must.
 

David Unsworth’s record last time round. His first fixtures were far from easy but that defensive record isnt exactly impressive, is it?

He won his first game, that's clearly the only important thing at this moment. .so you give him the time till he loses ....then and only then can we call him out as a thug that has drained this club of money and resources.....give the man a chance to loose ffs !!!
 
I don't like interim managers , There are enough quality managers out there for the club to get someone in quickly. You would have thought they would of been doing the ground work weeks ago but it appears not.
That said if it has to be interim I would have Duncan before offering it to Moyes all day long.

Keys doesn't understand why Allardyce was unpopular with us from the off. His style of anti-football was already well-known, and fans of other clubs who are close to our standards like West Ham and Newcastle also complained about this style.

It was never a big mystery, Richard!
 
With every game he does well, he could well be doing himself out of a job, can’t see a new manager wanting a multi game winning fan cult hero, standing right behind them as things get tough, which they will.

I think having Dunc standing right behind you is the only reason he's lasted at the club so long.

I'd deffo want him stood behind me if it was kicking off.

Alan Shearer and Tim Sherwood were saying pretty much the same thing on the West Ham - Arsenal preview and when they said
they'd heard that we were sounding out Emery they rolled there eyes.
 
No. If it goes tits up I don't think he'll be able to steady the ship. Need someone in sooner the better. Nothing against the Big Guy, Saturday was immense but we need a proper coach/manager. Act now or regret it later.

It also presupposes that you’re not allowed to dislike someone because they are basically awful. We didn’t like Sam and we didn’t like his football.
