The whole thing crazy, we play 1 game all blood and thunder. We want that.

last season we blew Arsenal(1-0 should of been 6) and Utd away playing attacking football. No one was moaning aboutpassing footy then
It's a generation brought up on winning nothing, and who just had "Big Dunc`" to hold onto, wanting to feel a wave of nostalgia. I get it. However, if it's indulged long term it'll kill us.

That needs to be pointed out and emphasised.

I'd rather some of the pressure was taken off them to let them do their job in a timely fashion without an angry mob wielding pitchforks.

Were you unhappy with what the "cone layer" served up on Saturday?
Ppl are wanting to give him the seasons, others saying he buying more time for the board. If anything the board have less time as we want to keep the momentum going and a new manager will do that
We have a game on Sunday against Utd away..we needs new manager in and ready to go before Wednesday.

I'm happy for Ferguson to take that game if it means the club are able to take the time they need to recruit the best candidate possible instead of panicking because we have a game on Saturday.

The main gift of Saturday is that David Moyes is deffo not coming back.

He has said himself a permanent appointment is not realistic.

As great as Saturday was, it doesn't really change anything in that respect.

I'm happy for him for be given another few games if necessary. We can have a right go on Sunday and in the cup game.

But - The onus should be firmly on Moshiri and the board to deliver a credible appointment in as short a timeframe as possible.

They got us into this mess - they can get us out of it.

I don’t think he be in charge.. what happens if we get turned over 4-0 at OT?

Duncan was tactically astute enough to understand exactly what was needed to win the game. He has worked under three managers who would never play that way and yet in just two days he changed the style and formation completely and engineered a win .
I don't think any of know how tactically aware he is but I do believe he will not be the next manager but will have a far bigger role than heretofore.
What is also very clear is that those who described him as a cone layer have absolutely no understanding of the man and his capabilities.

For the past 5 years we been calling and blaming Dunc for everything..Every time we lose or a manager gets sacked... now all of a sudden we want him as manager?

But there in lies the problem. Blaming dunc . On what basis should people blame him for woeful management last 5 years. Only a certain section will have blamed a coach for results over last 5 years. If they are blaming his coaching of forwards fair enough. But again look who he is working with. Dcl and niasse.
But to blame results on him. That's just looking for scapegoats of any description. Do we blame the goalkeeping coach for everton results???

Managers make the tactical decisions. The tactical decisions of slow non intensity football has been down to martinez / koeman and silva. Look at the tactics for norwich at home 2 weeks ago for a manager fighting for his position. It was brutal. Slow.. non intensity rubbish is all I can call it was silvas call.

He was getting blamed when he was a youth coach ffs

People where tho mate.

If he’s doing a good job and the results keep coming in, take the time to get it right with a new guy. Recruitment should be relatively consistent as we are largely implementing the vision of the DoF wrt recruitment.
