The Mozart scene is my favourite.

Mine too. I also love Reds last parole hearing, it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Great movie, watched it many times. Friendship and hope win, great dialogue, what more do you need.

Favorite parts:

1) All the inmates staring up at the loudspeakers in the yard while listening to the opera.

2) Drinking the beer on the rooftop.

3) Walking to the bank and pulling the warden's money out.

4) Red going to Buxton and finding the note.

I knew about it, but only ever saw it when my first DVD player came with Shawshank Redemption free.

Watched it about 200 times. Love it.

One of the best films ever made that is mate. Best scene is on the roof when he gets his mates some suds. In fact every scenes a classic scene. Brilliant
