We've got smarts and experience in the Yak and Saha.

I wouldn't sign Shane Long, either, but I'd prefer us to go younger and more exciting. Someone like... you know... *wink wink

Sadly we couldnt afford his wages so its not happening like, but depending on who he signs for and i beleive many clubs are in for him and he has a few options, hes straight in to my FPL team.

Still a boss player in my mind - one of my tips for a very a good season.

Believe it or not, we came very, very close to signing him in the past - the year we drew Villareal in the CL.

evenin fellas....I'd go all out for bellendamy b4 even thinkin about long. think the little gremlin faced Welshman would suit us nicely. Long is gash...as he will no doubt prove during west broms relegation battle!!

Nani one in 15, 9 and 18 assists last season the lads a genius.

If it was for one season I'd take Keane over Long, but you've got to think Long term. Hehe.

Saha must have been about Robbies age when he signed. That said take your point, hes not a current target anyway, sadly wages etc.

Keane hasn't had regular football I do concur. And despite looking gash at WHU I've seen him play well for Ireland numerous times this year. So yes I would take him.

I'd just want us to be aiming higher.

Isn't this over?

I saw earlier on Skysports News they called Shane Long "New West Brom Striker, Shane Long" which means we wont be getting him, he is not coming to us.

can we close this thread, before it becomes another "Moutinho"?
