Nah. I don't rate Shane Long that much but he's like 40 years younger than Keane ffs.
Robbie still has it mate, a quality player you never loose that, he has smarts and expierence - our forward line needs both tbf.

We've got smarts and experience in the Yak and Saha.
I wouldn't sign Shane Long, either, but I'd prefer us to go younger and more exciting. Someone like... you know... *wink wink
James McFadden.
Sadly we couldnt afford his wages so its not happening like, but depending on who he signs for and i beleive many clubs are in for him and he has a few options, hes straight in to my FPL team.
Still a boss player in my mind - one of my tips for a very a good season.
Believe it or not, we came very, very close to signing him in the past.
If Nani is a 1 in 15 player (Goat says he is x) then McFadden is a 1 in 346^3 player.
He's super mega ultra gash.
Games mate Robbie hasnt played.
Nani one in 15, 9 and 18 assists last season the lads a genius.
If it was for one season I'd take Keane over Long, but you've got to think Long term. Hehe.
Saha must have been about Robbies age when he signed. That said take your point, hes not a current target anyway, sadly wages etc.
Keane hasn't had regular football I do concur. And despite looking gash at WHU I've seen him play well for Ireland numerous times this year. So yes I would take him.
I'd just want us to be aiming higher.
Needs and wants though!
Someone just swiped all your Vcash as well ffs.
*Philip Green in all likely hood.
Where's the winners thread ffs? IMMORTALISE ME.
Well about that, im not saying who, but someone binned a certain forum on here..............................................
