The PE is by far and away the best place to watch the game from at Goodison.

I agree. Seat right beside the steps too so easy access for the toilet!!!

I couldn't tell you exactly how often it's happened recently, but it will happen a lot more with the record number of STHs.

Tonight is the 4th home sell out on the bounce.

Has this happened in recent years, I can't remember it happening in the glory years.

By the "glory years" I assume you mean the 80s, if so, then we only got a sellout for the derby (RS had about 12k in the ground) or the title decider, simply because Goodison held over fifty thousand then and most support was local and we (or the RS) couldn't fill our grounds with locals alone.

I don't know about it "not happening in the glory years" ... I remember it was a running joke that the place would be heaving and they would announce a crowd of 28,000. Bit of tax-avoidance shenanigans was suspected.

I was the same for this game. Just went on to Stub Hub and got nice spec in the PE for cheaper than I would have paid for restricted view.
