Those aren't calfs mate, there cows. The guy is huge, we are gonna look so funny with these 2 beasts (fellaini and castillo) in midfield surrounded by the tiny arteta, osman and pienaar taking 2 strides to 1 of theirs, lord of the rings style. Haha, can't wait to see it.

The Hobbit midfield

He looked very decent but it's hard to judge in such a slow paced game. Especially when judging defensive midfielders.

He looked very strong and tidy in possession, he didn't look like a play maker but at times he made some very nice passes, the pass for the penalty for example.

He got stuck in and he's got a funny looking run, as someone said on Kipper almost Gravesen like the way he runs. He doesn't look the tallest but I agree he does look very muscular, his legs look like tree trunks.

A promising game but I'd like to see more of him, I'm hoping Moyes starts him against Stoke, I doubt he will though.

I thought that aswell, it's a very weird run he's got.

I would be shocked if he doesnt play him to be honest, its quite clear were in desperate need in the middle for someone to get a grip. Be a totally new midfield next week with him and Felliani in the middle

He won't return until Thursday/Friday though, he could be tired and I don't think Moyes will risk him. I'd love him too but I don't think he will.

Dont forget were playing sun next week and it doesnt stop him playing the kangaroo kid when he goes away. I also think the position were in may force his hand as well

True, good point. I hope your right, I'd freshen everything up if we could get Fellaini and Castillo in the team.

Can see Yobo being rested due to his minor injury that's keeping him from playing for Nigeria. Plus, both Jagielka & Lescott could do with a confidence boost against (supposedly) weaker opposition.

Baines can launch a half decent cross anyways, so could be useful now that we've got some height from the 2 new boys.
