Regardless of whether he's able to get out there on the pitch and play, it's so nice to see him involved, a man who's lived and breathed Everton Football Club for most of his adult life. In the modern age, men like him are few and far between.
Groundsman sounds like a nice move for him to be fair.
And would still be on the grass more than he was on a pitch.
Needs to be kept away from all machinery and heavy lifting.
Maybe him doing some " light " edging and painting the lines on the pitches would be a good idea.
He can just stand at the side and clap at the grass to encourage it to grow.
