Gary Lineker seems pretty nice to me and he won the Golden Boot.

I think Seamus not winning anything has far more to do with the teams he has been in that the fact he is widely considered a very nice guy.

He’s been doing his coaching badges for the last 6 years mate, he’s taken academy sessions already this season.

The man's been here since 2009, a £60k bargain from Sligo, and is often included in conversations about the best value signings in the history of the game. He gave us his absolute prime years, fought back from a horror leg break, still happy to be involved, if not able to contribute on the pitch as much, at 37 as club captain when most players would have retired years ago. He turned down opportunities to leave when more successful clubs were interested in him, and every manager we've had through this chaotic spell singles him out specifically for praise as being someone who is so important in keeping this club together. Never moans, never disrespects the badge, bleeds blue, and literally says the club 'means everything' to him. An Everton fan hating on Seamus Coleman is so, so strange.

Would have thought that attitude and energy needed was pretty low down on the attributes required to make a top class manager.
Players respect , yes I can accept that.
Ability to coach , man manage , tactical awareness , leadership skills , communication and experience are surely far more important.

I'm not saying that Coleman won't develop into a manager and in time become an Everton manager but at this point in time all we really know is that the was a good player who got on and is respected by his team mates.

I don't think that's enough to hang your hat on for a future appointment.
