Coleman's reformation - you can't but help love football.
While parts of his game are on the wane he's more then making up for it.
He's not going to out sprint, over distance, the young and speedy left sided opp players.
But he can, and is, still brilliant within the 15m radius - lower centre of gravity, great dribble and touch in tight spaces, guile, vision and experience to read the game.
And he knows when and where to shift across the backline, like the way he cleaned up after Doucoure v Zaha, in what was probably the telling moment of the match.

Of course this wouldn't be happening if he was still playing under Silva, a true club man would've had to be put out to pasture.
But with Carlo a different game is being played, coincidentally or on purpose it matters not, the game is now being played to his strengths.
He fits in well to the tempo that Rodriguez plays, they compliment each other and together they can control the pace and purpose of play down the right.
with Alan or Doucoure providing the ballast to this partnership.
No doubt Carlo has the knack, the vision to draw this out. But it also comes from Seamus own timing and instincts. Its such a pleasure to see him play with confidence and assuredness again.
In his element, he has made some spectacular dribbles over the last couple of games.
The assist against Palace - the timing, when to exert strength and drive, the balance, the sublime touches under pressure, the initiative, the instinct, the vision to take the exact and only moment to pass through the defenders - was sublime. If that had been Salah or Greenwood we wouldn't stop hearing about it.
What a man! What an Irishman! What a Blue!
Thanks Carlos, Thanks James, its good to have the real Seamus back again.

I think the combination of Doucore and Allan make him feel more confident going forward. Not to mention Carlo is just a much better manager than our past that gets the best out of his players. His decision making in the final third has seen an improvement under Carlo too.

GTF Moyes, trying to unsettle the guy in the lead-up to our EFL Cup game.

West Ham United boss David Moyes is reportedly keen on a reunion with Everton skipper Seamus Coleman over a decade after he brought him to Goodison Park.

The pair worked together for four seasons before Moyes left Everton for his ill-fated spell in charge of Manchester United and the Daily Mirror are reporting that the Scotsman is plotting a move for the 31-year-old.

The Hammers are struggling defensively and Moyes believes Coleman will help shore up the backline, as well as providing a wealth of experience and leadership.

Why the hell would our first choice right back and captain join them lol

The West Ham rumour is comedy gold. We're expected to believe that after spending the best years of his career at this club, after sticking with us through the bad times (bad times that would actually be considered good times at West Ham btw), now in the twilight of his career when finally the club has seemingly turned a corner and is on the up again, Coleman is going to choose this moment to leave the club that he's dedicated his professional career to? For West Bloody Ham, David Moyes and a relegation battle?! Lmfao!

I didn't but I'm talking in general.

1 assist all last season and his crossing has always been awful.

His crossing has always been poor even when he was in his prime. His production was all about getting behind the defender and cutting back. With Doucoure and Allan he is now able to push up higher and threaten the defenders. This wont be the last time James slips Coleman in behind.

He really steps up his game when his place is under threat. Like when Sidibe was getting picked ahead of him & again now we’re in the market for a RB.

To be fair, it takes a special mentality to push your limits without competition. Maybe C Ronaldo can, but not many. And even if he maintained this current form, he can’t do it for 38 games + cups.

JJK doesn’t look to be the level we need. I’d be surprised if Carlo doesn’t demand a 1st choice RB in this window.
