Seamus Coleman isn't up to it.

I don't think distance has much do do with it. There are many (most I would think) who go to every game and have a 'get behind the players' attitude. There are also many who sit behind their keyboards many miles away and take swipes and digs at our players and team while sitting on their barstools. It works both ways. Anyway I'll be at the Norwich game on Saturday getting behind the team.

Does work both ways that, maybe I didn't convey what I meant properly.

I mean it's easy to be happy and smiley about things when you don't spend any money or get ripped by Kopites every day, and the most strenuous Everton related thing you do is logging in to a forum occasionally. Same goes for Evertonians who don't spend money or time but live in the city.

I feel your pain. So does Seamus.

He does step overs, he's 20. I like him.

I think he's been sussed as a winger. But when he's running with space and direct, he's awesome IMO

Which is why I can see him slotting into right back maybe next season because, like baines, he needs space to run into to be effective.

Can't see it happening under moyes but if we were more attack minded, he'd do well at fullback

He's 23. i fail to see him as a winger or full back for the reasons i set out earlier (by the way i said never crosses after putting up stats. i think that he has crossed 15 times this season with 4 or 5 connecting compared to bily, hibbo and baines getting in an average of between 5 and 10 a game. relatively he doesnt get the ball in).

and before i get ****ged off for "having a go at players", i go every home game and DO get behind all the players when they're on pitch (even bily and anichebe unbelievably), and will continue to. unfortunately, despite my support, some players are not up to it.

Seamus Coleman

...just confirmed what I already knew about him. ****e defender. But yeah, he sure can get forward in dangerous positions and whip in good crosses. Lot of good that did us today.

Hibbert can't get back soon enough.

I don't ever want to see Coleman at right back again. Either right mid or on the bench as an impact sub.

He made an amazing last gasp tackle to deny Le Fondre when the terrible Heitinga was caught out for about the tenth time that game.

He didn't have a bad game at all. He made one lapse for the penalty but other than that there were far more notable poor players in the Everton side - Heitinga and Pienaar spring to mind instantly.

Yeah, he was bad today. And I haven't even brought up the penalty. That was obvious. He just doesn't defend. That's his job. Bring back Hibbert asap.
