The concept seems lost on you. Of course it's hypothetical, my original question was hypothetical seeing as it was about unknown events yet to happen with unknown qualifiers.

There could be 2, 4 or 15 options and all worded differently, if one was 'leave the E.U.' and that had the majority return, you posted that ' The people will speak with all their freedom and knowledge this time and come to the right outcome.'

What makes you think all car plants will close ? If we stop buying Nissans because they've upped sticks to Japan , other car makers will see it as an opportunity and a gap to fill . Less competition
