Forgive my ignorance - over where? Thx

Belgium (Flanders) mate.

(in all seriousness; I think they've used Cara to make this map - they should be paying you to drink that)

Not half as shocked as I was by Keisse mimicking doggy style as I stopped for a photo by the palace.

Look Bruce apparently you were standing suggestively with your arse perched backwards... Anyway, he's very sorry and it will probably be addressed in the next conduct protocol to be circulated by mail.

I have no problem with taxes, we should all pay what we can afford or are expected to pay. I have no truck with anyone who evades taxes...

I wasn't aiming for you Pete, more general. The taxes are way higher, especially on labour (well it's progressive, if you don't earn a lot, you won't be paying a lot). Genuinely you always see surprised Brits when they negotiate their gross wage, and then they see their net-wage. Are ways around it though like fake self employment (if they catch you, your employer will be in all sorts of serious trouble), or dubious but legal fringe benefits, fake border employment etc... .

Mind you there's also an article in our constitution that everyone has the right to choose the way of the least taxation, in quite a comprehensive way (tax avoidance is very legal, tax evasion is not). A remnant of our history, a result of all the foreign occupations and a reaction to that. So if you want get creative, you most definitely can.

Medication in this country already is a problem

I’ve got a couple of ailments and one of my meds was in the other day , comes from Germany . Boots couldn’t get it due to manufacturers or suppliers problems for over a week , GP managed to ring around other chemists and I picked it up from another chemists elsewhere but there was obviously an issue .

I don’t know what the problem was other than the vague description but there was obviously an issue . I’m assuming it’s a bit early to be laying the blame at Brexit but this hasn’t happened for over 7 years so no clue what’s caused it .

The referendum gave a result that the majority of those who took part wanted to leave the EU. That should be respected whether you agree with it or not. We don’t always get the results we want at elections or referendums.

However in my opinion, there should have been a caveat that when the brexit deal was finalised, there should have been another referendum asking “This is the deal we have, should we still Brexit”

I know that is not practical now with the tight timeframe, but it would have allowed people to make a more informed choice before making a blind jump into the unknown.
