I don't think it can be argued any more that EBT's didn't give Rangers an unfair sporting advantage, and over a sustained period too

Fair enough. To be honest I'm heartily sick of the whole Rangers saga. The very mention of Rangers on the box prompts a quick change of channel.

And Celtic's utter dominance means
Scottish football has become a bit of a labour of love, I'm afraid.
 
Im new to G.O.T and have to say it cracks me up that Scottish Football is "World Football" :D

Im a Scotsman, and Im bored by our league. I really am. I cant wait for the day when Celtic and Rangers do one, and let the rest of us get on with it.
I don't think they would bring much to the English leagues either, other than a sense of self entitlement and paranoia when they don't get things their way like they do up here.

I remember looking on a Rangers forum one lunch time at work, just for amusement, it was the time of sevco where everday was a gift. Anyway they had a thread listing their 'biggest enemies', in amoungst all the usual bile was a post that said Hamas. They are some bunch.

You really need to have lived up here and not be a supporter of one of the ugly sisters to get the hilarity of this weeks Euro adventure. I have actually met some decent rangers fans, well decent until you mention football. Most of them stopped watching Scottish football until last season lol

Blast from the past, 1983! Dundee Utd win the title at the home of their biggest rivals, across the road.

Also that year, Aberdeen won the Euro Cup Winners Cup vs Real Madrid. Great year for Scotland, the ugly sisters from Glasgow blown out of the water! That's why Aberdeen and Dundee Utd were called the 'new firm'. What happened??

Aberdeen lost Fergie for a start although they did OK after for a while. Dundee Utd never had enough cash to maintain the challenge. The big let-down has been Edinburgh's failure to compete with the Old Firm since the 50s.
