As funny as it is Rangers going out, it's another huge embarrassment for Scottish football, further highlighting the need for change that everybody (except those making the decisions) can see!

League reconstruction is a must, not only the number of teams in the leagues, but also when the games are played - huge case for summer football:

a) better chance of TV deals/audiences by not competing directly with England
b) season would already be underway when our teams are playing these euro qualifiers in late june/early july
c) winter in scotland is a complete washout/whiteout

I'm not sure how many more of these results are needed before they do something about it!

Luxembourg man lol

Moving it to the summer is an admission of defeat imo

I would make the top division 16 teams and I'd introduce rules that'd encourage teams to play young Scottish players

Celtic are a financially stable club who get huge crowds, so if you gave them the tv money they'd probably be mid table in the premier league

Rangers are an utter mess at the moment, so they'd struggle

Is this result seen as a cause for mirth from other Scottish club supporters or as an embarrassment for the reputation of the Scottish League?

It seems to me that the loveable Bears are really reaping what they sowed in the past, regarding strange financial arrangements, in huge quantities.

Hopefully Rovers can build on the 1-0 away result to Stjarnan (Iceland) when they play the home leg tomorrow.
