The thing is why should they get their own thread? They are not any better than anyone else. Now if Celtic/Rangers get mentioned in any football context instead of what their fans think of each other and what they think of other clubs supporters. Good stuff.
The problem seems to be OF supporters can’t just leave it at that.
Just imagine it’s Hearts v Celtic at Tynecastle and we’re having a good old chat about the game I guarantee sooner or later one of the Celtic minded will come along and start going on about sectarian abuse. Boring boring please give it a rest.

Very well put, although I do come in here now and again just to see what childish rants and name calling is going on and then come away disappointed that it is just good old football chat :D

I accept songs about the armed struggle in Ireland will probably offend residents of the country that still occupies a part of Ireland to this day, but there aren't many sectarian ditties belted out at Celtic Park.

It never ceases to amaze me how Aberdeen fans sing about the decades old abuse of children at Celtic Boys Club, and have sung about the Ibrox Disaster in the past, yet ignore that and try take the moral high ground over songs about Irish republicanism.

One could conclude there's a hint of, dare I say it, irony? :)

Can't say I've heard the CBC one.
I've also said ,do fans really understand what they are singing about?
Abuse and people dying are disgusting topics .

To be fair it is more than just a few posts not discussing the football. As mentioned though, I find it hilarious so no cry arsing from me but the guy does have a point.

I mean the incessant back and forth about the songs on the bus could easily be seen as a bit boring. You are not answering my question - You are not answering my question - You are not answering my question - ad infinitum. If it wasn't for the childish name calling in between it would also be boring to me :)

I’ve really got to laugh at this mate…”thinking you’re that important”…… as far as the OF are concerned they think they are Scottish Football that’s how important they think they are.

Who said anything about the OF not being discussed on a Scottish football thread?

People have been talking about an Old Firm thread. Glad you laughed mate.

Oh and without the Old Firm Scottish Football would die a death and end up like the Welsh league in no time.

I think you are missing the point a bit. People are more than happy to talk about the old firm in a football sense. It's when the chat is just endless arguments about "your supporters are worse than our supporters, my club isn't sectarian, yours is etc etc" that people get very bored very quickly.

If we could just stick to talking about football, it will be a much better thread
