My analysis on what I understand is going on with Rangers.
Forest tap up Warburton. He says aye.
Tries to get away from Rangers for free. But Rangers say no (which they are perfectly entitled to do) Forest then decide to stick with an interm boss for the rest of the season. Warburton then goes back to Rangers 'tail between his legs' but discovers Rangers have grown a pair and replaced him for their next game. And Warburton hasn't officially quit.

Those players have taken Celtic to the next level
Brenda's contacts helps bring in better players and even basic coaching qualities which Ronnie didn't have will improve the players
