Just imagine if there's a legit five team scramble for the title this year?

Possibly exciting stuff on the horizon

That’d be fantastic to watch , even three or four would be unmissable. Unfortunately I worry that we’ll see Celtic settle down and ease their way to another but even it’s its made to be a battle it’ll be great for the game

think rangers will be a lot closer this year than previously but yeah at least 10 points difference

No not having a great start but not over yet by a long way . An unbeaten season and Only managed ever to win a double treble has to earn him a lot of good will as well.

Fair play, I don't really follow Scottish football. Celtic do have a huge advantage but still takes some consistency to go undefeated and the treble.

Despite his previous achievements I doubt the Celtic board will take where they are now for much longer.

It's still early doors yet Phil, however it's as much down to the board as anyone else that they are struggling to get out of the blocks, The Celtic board over many years have been in posession of what is known as the 'biscuit tin' when it comes to funds.

Their transfer strategy is basically to try and find good young players for 2/3 million, nurture them for a couple of years then sell on for a large profit e.g. Wanyama, Forster, Dembele, Armstrong and Van Dyck to name but a few.

The biscuit tin this year was not opened sufficiently to Rodgers liking therefore he did not get the players in who he wanted/needed, couple this with much improved Rangers/Hibs/Hearts and a consistent Aberdeen plus Rodgers starting to be linked with other jobs, the fact that they can't sustain winning trebles forever.

They will probably still win the league, as we all know it's a marathon and not a sprint, however I don't think that they will win both domestic cups this year nor romp to the title and I also think Rodgers will be away this season but when he's ready, I can't see him being sacked as the board would seek big compo for him.
