Ha Ha. Ah! that old chestnut. I have no axe to grind with you wanting a draw to decide where the games should be played, but be honest, the Celtic team of the last 2 seasons are more than capable of seeing off any opposition (domestically) regardless of where the game is played, they have won the 6 trophys that they have competed for. As I said earlier, enjoy your day out, I recommend the Bow Bar just off the Grassmarket.

Eh? I don't know if I getting you here, but are you saying the part I posted about there being a football rule that rangers, and their fans, mustn't be inconvenienced wasn't sarcasm? Surely not?

I'm not going to the game. I only go to home games. I won't be inconvenienced in the slightest. I simply want things to be shown to be fair, and not some dodgy back room deal. I really can't see how anyone could see that as being wrong.

Aberdeen to Glasgow /Edinburgh is about the same but the early kick offs on a Sunday are a nightmare for dons fans

I think it’s one thing trying to get a couple of thousand to a league game with a difficult kick off time is one thing but a semi and the number of supporters involved that seems wholly unfair given the transportation issues.

I disagree. Football should always be seen to be fair.

I don't care if we play Hearts at Hampden, or Murrayfield. I do care however if there isn't any kind of draw, and people just make it up as they go along.
Jeezo, what is unfair about this, seriously? 'Kin hell, my own team were in the semi final of the League cup 2 years ago against Aberdeen with a 12.00 kick off. I genuinely felt sorry for the Aberdeen fans having to get to Glasgow, and then having to get the low level train to Mount Florida in time for the kick off, however, I would've happily played them on the 'Kin beach at Aberdeen just to see my team in a national semi-final for the first time in a generation. Your team will be in semi-finals and finals every year, reiterate that, every year...

I remember the old days when it was the Rangers fans who were paranoid. Makes me pine for Corky, he only has a chip on one shoulder ;)

Seriously mate, have you actually read my posts?

I've been posting the same thing over and over again. What part of this isn't getting through. Everything should not only be fair, it should be seen to be fair.

If there had been a draw/ballot of some kind, I would have absolutely no problem whatsoever with Celtic going to Murrayfield, or anywhere else, as that was the luck of the draw .How can you condone people just making decisions at random?

Ah, the old "Paranoia" chestnut.

Maybe if a player being transferred to your club had been held up, by the chief executive of the SFA, until after they had played a semi-final against Rangers, you might be a tad more "Paranoid"

A president of the SFA, Campbell Ogilvie knew a member club, Rangers, had players on secret contracts that were against football rules, but kept it quiet. But hey, let's just ignore evidence of clear cheating, and talk about "Paranoia" eh?

They had a cup draw, as you said. Why wasn't the game drawn second out of the hat the one they decided to move?

I don't think that should have happened btw, I think there should have been some kind of draw, but if one of the games should have been the one to remain at Hamden, it should have been the first one drawn, in my opinion.
Why is it when Rangers were top dogs a few years ago Celtic fans had the chip on their shoulder, when Rangers went bust they whinged the whole world was against them , we are now back full circle, the storm clouds are gathering over Parkhead, it's been a bad week or so for them, Brendan is now back in full David Brent mode and 'Why us' is the cry again, it would bring tears to a glass eye.

'Kin hell, I'll just leave this here. IT'S A SEMI-FINAL OF A CUP, I'M NOT CONDONING INVADING IRAQ!!! You really must have better things to do with your time than get upset about not getting to play a game of football within a couple of miles of your home stadium? If not, you really need to get out more often...i.e. go to Edinburgh x

What the actuall……

Why are you talking about invading Iraq? All I'm asking for is a fair draw, or coin toss etc for a venue. What is so hard to understand about that?

I refer you to post #3,491 ;)
Why? I really don't care where the games are played as I don't have a vested interest. You, on the other hand, have had a wee meltdown because the SPFL huv actually made a sensible decision for a change, unfortunately, that decision doesn't meet with your approval, so you've decided to throw the toys out of the pram. As I said earlier, I would go anywhere to see my team play in a semi-final, maybe you should as well ;)
