So you are admitting that Celtic always have an advantage at any semi in Glasgow?

To an extent, in that they're more familiar with the national stadium, because of the amount of times they've played there but that's huge difference from the early 90's when they played their home games there.

I think Motherwell played at Hampden four times last season, the same as Celtic. Would that mean they shouldn't get to play there either? They have same advantage as Celtic, as they played the same amount of games there.

So I take it that if the two matches had been put the other way around you'd still be demanding a second draw then?

As it didn't affect Celtic adversely, I wouldn't have demanded anything, but when Rangers and/or Aberdeen fans complained that there should have been a draw/ballot/toss of the coin etc, I would have agreed with them.

You seem to be ignoring my points, and just taking an anti-Celtic stance. Why bother having cup draw at all? Why not just allow Rangers to play all their games at Ibrox? Apart from the fact that football should not only be fair, it should be seen to be fair, obviously.

They had the cup draw

Then they decided to switch one of the venues and based who would play there on that previous draw

A second draw wasn't required

Sorry, the highlighted section above is tinfoil hat material. The whole of Scottish football has danced to the Old firm's tune for as long as I've been following football and each one of them thinks that they're given a hard time by the SFA/SPFL. Imagine then that a team other than the Old firm might get an advantage for a wee change ? Go and have a nice day out in Edinburgh, it has some lovely views and cracking pubs, you never know, you might even win...1-0

The part you highlighted was sarcasm. I would have thought it was obvious, but apparently not. :coffee:

It's on your supporters doorstep which as an Aberdeen follower of sorts find it a massive inconvenience getting up at stupid o'clock cos there's no trains

They had a cup draw, as you said. Why wasn't the game drawn second out of the hat the one they decided to move?

I don't think that should have happened btw, I think there should have been some kind of draw, but if one of the games should have been the one to remain at Hamden, it should have been the first one drawn, in my opinion.

I can't remember but was the draw live ?
As in live feed?
I'm sure I just heard it and no pictures

I don't think it matters

If Hibs got drawn at Murrayfield and it got changed to Hampden I wouldn't be bothered

Ha Ha. Ah! that old chestnut. I have no axe to grind with you wanting a draw to decide where the games should be played, but be honest, the Celtic team of the last 2 seasons are more than capable of seeing off any opposition (domestically) regardless of where the game is played, they have won the 6 trophys that they have competed for. As I said earlier, enjoy your day out, I recommend the Bow Bar just off the Grassmarket.
